I think it's wonderful of you and very lucky for them! Don't worry about the amount, you give what you can give and it's from your heart and that's what counts!! Yes, you could have given $40, but you could have given nothing also! I believe they will be thrilled. Happy Holidays to all!

I don't think that $25 is cheap at all. I used to work at a daycare and it was so nice when the parents would bring me gifts for Christmas. Daycare workers don't make very much money as you probably know so $25 seems very generous to me. I think the worst gifts were things like boxes of candy or ornaments. So, you done good girl!!

When it comes to giving Xmas gifts to all the people in your life who fit this category (service providers), you have to be reasonable within the confines of your budget... Anyone who has the gall to question a gift given sincerely and in gratitude (in this situation) shouldn't even get a gift next time. However, good day-care providers are worth their weight in gold, so they would qualify for more, in my opinion, than say the mailman... BUT- I think 25 is fine...

Incidentally, it's against Postal regulations to give monetary gifts to their employees, period... it was just the first thing that popped into my head...

I think a customized framed picture would be a warm gift in this big day. I has been touched when I first received it from my boyfriend. He used my picture to made a portrait on puzzle. The gift really boosted my morale. Simply you just select a best picture, send the simple warm words you say to her and artist will do the rest for you. You can ask them to print it on a card, puzzle or canvas. I am pretty appreciate their service because it is completely personalized design, not like drawing or painting. Also, it is different from other service print your picture directly on canvas. I think the gift will be the most precious possession that if he receive it.

$25 is very generous and also unexpected. No one will think you are cheap. This comes from personal experience as I used to work with children and received some gift cards on occasion

A gift is a gift. If you choose to give each a $25 gift card, I think it is a wonderfully thoughtful idea. I believe that to be especially true as you have chosen to treat them all the same. I applaud your idea and your willingness to carry through with it.

That is plenty considering they are not expecting anything from you. You should not feel bad about how much you give...remember you do pay them every month to show your appreciation. Add a bonus; put a "Santa hat" on your daughters and have them hand deliver the cards. Bring a camera and tissue (for tears).

I think that is extremely thoughtful and quite enough without being over the top. You don't want it to seem like a "bribe" but more of a gesture of good will, etc. That's a very nice gift and I am sure they will appreciate it!

omg - I wish I had your daughter. I rarely have recieved gifts worth more than $15 (usually they are around $5). They will love the gift and appreciate your thoughtfulness. Goodness knows they don't make much in salary!
