Earlier today around 3pm I took my 2 year old son to Highs up the street where my older sister works but she was not on at the time and I ended up taking my little sister who is 15 along with me.

Well everything went fine, my son was well behaved and we were only in the store for about 10 minutes.

Well my sister just got home for work and she was on shift with the woman who was working thier when me and my little sister and son went and my older sister asked if I was aware our little sister called my son an idiot at the store.

I asked her what she was talking about and she said the girl she was working with said when we were paying for the stuff my son was looking at this little sign that had words that go across it and he was pointing at it and apparently touched it and my little sister said "dont touch that you idiot"

I have a very unique situation. I recenty sepearted from a man that I was with for 3 1/2 years. He has I son that I have helped raise so he gave me visitation. Since they moved out my son has had little to no disciple and gets everything he wants whenever he wants it. For the last couple of months when he comes over to my house and screams at me and does not listen at all. If I punish him he gets really upset and says things like " Daddys right I dont want to come over here any more. " I am trying my hardest not to get mad around him but I know that his father is making me out to be tha bad guy. His father has even admitted to me that he tells him that I wont let him move back home among other things. What do I do. It hurts me more than anythin g to think that he doesn't want to be at my house.

I am trying a new strategy on getting my 2 year old to sleep. I've heard warm milk can help, but I just want to make sure. Is milk (1% here) safe to warm up on the stove and drink? I want to give it to him to drink while going to sleep (yes I know this is not good, but I am breaking habits one at a time). Will this make him sick because it is warmed up?

He's fine during the day, and he goes to sleep ok. He just wakes up in the middle of the night crying really hard. Nothing will calm him, I've tryed bringing him to bed with me, laying with him, singing, a nightlight, and nothing seems to work.

He's 3 years old, but he has speech problems so he can't tell me what's wrong. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Yes, I know that my nineteen month old should have dropped the milk bottle at 15 months old but she refuses all attempts on my part to use a sippy cup. She drinks juice and water from the Nuby sippy cups but refuses milk inside of it! I put her to sleep with a bottle of milk first but now that I put it in the sippy cup, she throws a fit. Any ideas? Moms help!

My sons class will have a "Thanksgiving Feast" potlock. This is an activity that goes along with thier ABC books about foods and their lessons on Thanksgiving. They will be discussing the first letter in students' names and foods that begin with that letter. So I need to have 24 sample size, fun and healthy, snacks that start with the letter "M". Can anyone help? :D Thanks!

My 3 1/2 year old has been exclusively potty trained for at least 6-7 months. In the last week, I have found her several times, peeing in secretive places, in her pants.
What could this be from??

My daughter has always been very independent child. About a week ago she started freaking out everytime I left a room. She follows me constantly, cries if she can't get to me, and has started climbing into my bed at night. She says it's because she can't feel me at night. I've tried talking with her and assuring her I'm not leaving, having her express her feelings as best she can, and validating how she feels, but this is starting to become a problem. I can't leave the house without a major fuss! It's heartbreaking but I also can't give in to her. Any ideas?

My son is 18 months old and bites his sister who is 4 constantly and with no provication. He bites her so hard he leaves his teeth marks! I have tried everything I can think of to get him to stop. I've tried time-outs, telling him no, and when that doesn't work spanking him and gently biting him. None of these things have gotten him to stop and I don't know what to do now! Help!!

About 6 mos. ago I ran into an old friend. We let our kids play a couple of times, and then she asked me to babysit her daughters. I have watched them nearly everyday since. They are wonderful children, but they are always sick. After asking to take them to the doctor numerous times, I took them myself. They were given meds., but when I sent them home, I was told ,by the 4 y/o that they were not given to them. I said nothing, but then we I got their meds again, my friend picked her kids up for 5 days, and left the meds here. I provide diapers, food, socks, shoes, coats, etc. I know that their parents love them, but I also know that they are on drugs, that is why they leave them with me so often. When with their parents, they are left to fend for themselves, so they beg for me. I have talked to them, but they feel that as long as they dont do drugs in the presence of the kids, then nothing is wrong. I totally disagree! I cannot raise them, or I would call CPS. I need advice.
