he stutters at times, not all the time he will go weeks without doing it and then here it is again, I have researched this to no end and have read that it's typical in boys ages 3-4 have any other parents experienced this? We have never brought it to our sons attention that he is stuttering, per the books, but should we?

I teach a class for children ages 1-5, most of the kids are roughly about 3 to 5... Does anyone have any good game ideas for my class? Some that are easy for them to understand, and will keep them busy for a while (they like playing things like Duck, Duck, Goose...) Thanks!

She is an awlful eater. She pretty much only wants mac and cheese or plain pasta. I am not as worried as my husband. She like those really cheap Banquent dinners (that I know can't be good for her) sometimes. I feel 3 year olds are just bad eaters and things will change as she gets older. Breakfast is dry cereal. She eats pretty well at lunch at her daycare. She is very healthy and normal size. Petite, but has been since birth.

my daughter will be 5 on oct.6. For the past year we have done many things to try to get her to quit. We have tried bandage tape on her thumb, she takes it off when we aren't looking, then puts it back on. we have tried polish called stop the bite (to stop nailbiting), that tastes REALLY gross, but she picks it off, and even though the taste is still there, she sucks it anyway. I've talked to her about it a lot. I've told her she will be starting school soon and she needs to be a big girl to go to school. I've been mean and told her if she sucks her thumb any that day, everyone will get dessert except her. That worked for a few hours, then decided she liked her thumb better than any dessert.

Her dentist has shown me the effects this is having on her teeth as is adement she needs to stop. She already has a "moon". I have shown her this in the mirror and in pictures how it is getting bigger.

Has anyone gone through this? Do you hve any advice that really works? Please hlep!!

my daughter likes to have or play with the stuff i have. i guess it's cuz she wants to be like her mommy. :) that makes me happy until she breaks my stuff. it's like she's not satisfied until whatever she has of mine is broken.

it's mostly little stuff like lip gloss, makeup, jewelry...

i know i shouldn't let her play with my stuff anymore...and that's not my question....

she gets upset when she breaks my things, but why does she have to use/play with it until it breaks??

by the way, she's 4 if that helps.

The little girl I babysit is really sweet and really nice but she never lets me put her to bed. Her parents sometimes get home really late at night and I don't want them to have to put her to bed AND take me home. Whenever I say "time for bed" she gets all whiney and refuses. I don't want her to hate me for it! I am afraid she will get mad at me and then her parents will fire me.

How can I get her to bed without a hassle? Without her hating me? Without her pitching a fit?

I have a special needs child, he has autism and epilepsy along with 8 other diagnosis. My question is we are having alot of behavioral issues with him. We have tried time outs, spanking, etc. We have also tried 123 magic and love and logic to no avail. We even had behavioral resource teams to come in and try and help but they even dont know what to do. Where can i turn? He is only 5 years old and is already out of control, i am scared of what he will be like at 10, 15. I dont want no one to get hurt or for him to hurt himself. My son does not feel pain and therefore is more aggressive than he realizes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is that normal for a toddler to get so worked up that it upsets their tummy?

she is 23 mos old. She went to hosp last night for fever. fever broke and was sent home (diagnosis: a virus that is "going around") the fever is now being controlled by motrin/tylonal does alternating. She does not sleep more than 1/2 hr at a time. and then she refuses to go back to sleep. She normally loves bedtime. She wants nothing to drink. She's had several baths. Help!--Sleep depraved mom and dad needs help!! She also screams for no reason and loud and hard. She has also started quivering...her leg...her arm.
