I teach a class for children ages 1-5, most of the kids are roughly about 3 to 5... Does anyone have any good game ideas for my class? Some that are easy for them to understand, and will keep them busy for a while (they like playing things like Duck, Duck, Goose...) Thanks!

Ummm....Well if you want educational ones just get someflash cards of shapes, numbers, and/or colors and kinda quiz them, so they can start early. Also those Baby Einsten dvds or veggie tales, barney. Drawing and finger painting, songs and msuic, blocks, coloring pages, color by number, little easy puzzles, if you have a big table or two or three w/e, get some shaving cream and put it all over the tables and let them draw pictures and stuff on it, its not messy usually cus it drys. Baby dolls and barbies never fail for little girls!! and Trucks and cars adn Army men never failed for little boys.Cabbage patch dolls are good to, stuffed animals, and stuff so they can make up their own games and use their imagination. Reading is great to. Theres just a few hope I or some else can help because you have alot of little ones to care for, o and playgrounds and stuf if you have them. o and play doo!!

Mine likes to sing! So any game that includes singing or music. Musical chairs, maybe modify and have musical bean bags. Teach then songs with activities, the wheels on the bus go round, old mac Donald, and have each one be a different animal to act out. Or the saint go marching on...

My son(4) and daughter(1) have alot of fun passing a ball back and forth on the floor...
Turn on some upbeat kids music & try to get them to do a silly dance...
Give them some PlayDoh! My kids LOVE it!

My son is three years old and I am teaching him words and what they begin with, so the first day do the letter "a" and then tell them I am going to say some words and if they begin with the letter a or a sound everyone clap, he loves it!
