Simple toys bring the most joy. Maybe some playsilks, or a waldorf doll, or some good cds of children's music, or some passes to a science center or something else fun.

Try getting her some plain shirts or hats and fabric paint. Sit with her and create. Have fun.

Take her to the store and let her pick it out herself. How can you go wrong? Tell her she has $xxx and this is what she can spend.

Does she have any pets? She is old enough to have the responsibility of a pet if it is ok with your parents.
