Anyone know of a good PC game for a 3 yr old that has it's own keyboard that fits over, or on top of, or next to standard keyboard. Tired of coming back to 'scroll lock', 'start menu', 'menus' and 'media player' opened up because he's been "working" as he says.

My 4 yr old son cant keep his hand off my "mama milk". I nursed him until he was 1.. he obviously thinks of it as comfort. but sometimes he just touches me (in public and at home) unconsciously and on purpose just to be naughty. We have told him to stop but I feel so mean when I move his hand away when it wanders while he is sleeping or something. He will even head butt me there. He is a wonderful cuddly boy but this is not cool. help?

That is to say, the little one's fave of the list causes you (A) to have the song going through your head-even when the little one is asleep (B)cringe when you know you're going to read the.same.book.over.AGAIN. (C) want to throw a brick at the start up music of the show/beginning of the DVD.

Not all catagories will fit everyone I know. I am aware of and admire that some do not let their children watch tv, et al. I'm not looking for a way to cure said madness. I just know that I can't be the only one.
My personal nails on the proverbial chalkboard?
Certain Thomas the Train shows. The show/songs that make up Thomas, while cute, just stay there. "They're two, they're four, they're six, their eight"..arrgh! Get out of my head!
Chicken Little: yes the Disney movie, don't hate me. But my son is obsessed with Abby. I know this show like the back of my hand, the hand I twist nervously as I narrowly evade insanity at it's start-up.
& The Roly Poly Pudding-love the story but every night?

I've tried everything from laying on the floor beside her crib to letting her cry it out, including warm baths before bed and those "calming, bedtime" lotions. The only way to get her to go to sleep is for me to lay down with her with no one else in the room (usually downstairs in our livingroom after everyone else is in bed asleep). Even then, she's not going to sleep until at least midnight (sometimes as late as 3:00 am). I've tried getting her up at 8:00 am, only letting her take an hour's nap (which she refuses to take until at least 4:00 pm), keeping her up through the day with no nap(she literally falls asleep aroung 6:00 - 7:00 pm while she's playing the 2 times I've tried this and then waking up a couple hours later, only to be up for hours more). Nothing is working! By the time I get her to sleep, it takes me at least an hour to wind down to where I can go to sleep - I'm exhausted! I'm desperate! Please, if you have experienced answers, HELP

I am a single mother of a georgous one year old little girl. She has started to take off her diaper when it is wet or dirty and will bring me a new one so that I can change her. I have never helped potty train a child before so I am interested in any advice that I can get on the subject. Is one year old to early to start, should I wait and if so when should I start? Please help.

My daughter is 19 months old and I have decided to hit this potty training head on. Today was the first day and it was a lot of tear (my daughter) and fustration (me). I know it isn't easy, but some advice?

I put the cloth training pants on her and after an hour she started pointing at her privates and saying "bee bee". She I helped her to the potty which only made her burst into tears. I got her giggling and playing while sitting on the potty and after about 20 minutes or so, nothing. I let her get up and put the pants back on her, she grabs a diaper and gives it to be and starts the pointing and "bee bee" again (I am assuming she can't say pee pee and is just saying bee bee). I tell her to come sit on the potty again and she runs for the door and squats, by the time I get to her (I was sitting on the floor to be at her level) it is already too late, she peed her pants and on the floor. My fiance just tells me to put her on the potty, she does a few drops

I was reading to my daughter the other night and realized all her books are "baby" books. She needs some more her age. She already knows her colors, shapes, numbers and ABC's so nothing like that. Our local bookstore isn't grouped by age. There's just a childrens section. And it's impossible to get anyone to help.

Please help! Any suggestions would be more than appreciated! I'm getting so tired of cleaning and sanitizing and scrubbing my carpets!

She is 2 years and 7 months, and for weeks she has been begging to go to school and buy a backpack. I am a stay at home mom, so she doesn't go to daycare, we also can't afford it. What is the age for going to preschool, and is it normal for a child this young to beg non stop to go to school? It may be because she wants to play with other kids, we live in an apartment complex that does not have any children her age, I don't have any friends with kids her age either so she doesn't participate in playgroups. I want her to be able to interact with kids but I don't know what to do.........

When my daughter has been doing this since she could first sit up. I was concerned and talked to our family doctor. My Doctor told me not to be worried, some kids do this and she would grow out of it. He also said that be relieved that my daughter didn't pull her hair instead. I have rarely heard of this, could anyone shed some light on this for me. Is this something she should have grown out of already? Should I even worry if my doctor isn't? My parents get mad at me if I let her do it, am I wrong? Please give me some idea what I am working with.

SItuation: I was shopping with my 3 kids at a local chain shoe retailer. We we almost done, ready to purchase shoes, when my 4 year old daughter started to lose control of her bowls. I ask a store clerk if she could use the bathroom. It was an emergency. He then went to the register and ask the store manager, who said no. The time it took him to do that, my 4 year old daughter lost it fesces started to come out and she started crying. I stood there begging the manager to please let us use it she has a medical condition, meanshile, holding my 5 month daughter as well, he said absolutely not. "I can't break policy for you mame". When I heard that, I obviously lost it, and said "don't you have any compassion?!" I was mad! I left, went nearby to a public resturant, where they kindly let us use their bathroom. That wasn't the end, but my question still exist.
