Keep offering her a variety of healthy choices. If she is truely not eating much, you might make sure she is getting a vitamin. She will eat when she is hungry. Praise her if she trys something new.
Make sure you are offering kid sized portions.....if you give her too much it could be overwhelming.
Involve her in food prep by letting her pour or stir stuff. This may interest her in eating the end product.
When my son was about 3 years old, I was worried about how little he ate. Our doctor told me that if he ate the equivalent of 3 good meals over the course of a whole week, that was good for that age.
Try "I bet you can't eat another bite" or "there is no way you could eat that" and see if it gets her to eat more.

You will never be able to get a 2 year old to eat. She will eat what and when she wants. The trick is for you to be in control without her really knowing it. 2 year olds have precious little that they are in control of and any strong-willed child will realize early on that food is something that they can make mom crazy over. The second power struggle will come with potty training. Throw bed time in to the mix and you've got stressed out parents. With the food issue, avoid making this any kind of power struggle with her. Make her healthy meals and snacks. Offer them to her. If she does not eat, do not beg her to "just try it", plead for "just a bite", or bribe her with "eat all your beans and you can have ice cream". If the food goes left untouched, remove her and the food from the table and offer her either the same food or another healthy choice about an hour later. Food cut into fun shapes is great for a special occassion like Grandma coming to visit, but don't use it as a bribe. I gurantee that if you make food a non-issue, she will begin to eat. Children will not starve themselves. Make sure she is not getting too much liquid during the day. If she walks around with a sippy cup of milk or juice, put water in it instead and offer the milk and juice at meal and snack times. Offer her small portions and make sure the pieces of food are cut into bite-size pieces. If you don't already, sitting with her and eating when she eats will give you some special time together and you can be a role model for table manners and good eating habits.

I have raised several 2 yr olds now and they do the not eating thing as a form of control. Give your 2 yr old the food. Allow a set amount of time for the child to eat. Offer help in eating in that time period. Then take the food away. Do not allow snacks between meals. She will get hungry and eat. She will not become malnurished and you will be less stressed not fighting with her to eat. Good luck!

I have a picky son as well. No food on the plate can be touching each other, he must have a spoon, and a napkin. I must eat the exact same as him or he will not touch anything.
Your daughter may not be in a growing spurt, when the body is not growing rapidly children seem to eat less (like a bird) and then when the body starts a spurt again they eat everything they can get their hands on.
Be patient, she will eat when she is hungry.
My son also went through a phase where he would only eat snack crackers.

Don't worry this is completely normal most kid's are picky at that age sometimes they won't even try a food unless they have seen it like 10 times so just keep offering her a variety of food's over and over and if she dose not want to eat just tell her OK well that is what you are getting so if you do not want it starve,When she is hungry she will eat she will not starve herself GOOD LUCK!

I artwork in a seafood eating place, and persons order their sons and daughters the popcorn shrimp off the youngster's menu each and every of the time. they haven't any tails on them, and the father and mom cut back them up into tiny products. if your newborn is allergic to seafood, you are going to would desire to discover out at some point. in case you nevertheless uncomfortable with the assumption, examine with your pediatrician.
