my daughter had sleeping problems..she used to wide awake in the middle of the night (1am to 4am~) until she started school when she was two.. but now she still always sleep late at 11 or 12.. n i have to wake her up at 7 for school (school starts at 7:40). u can imagine how it's like to wake a sleeping kid.. she will cry..then afternoon she will be tired and fall asleep at 3pm for 3 hrs! if lucky she will sleep at 1:30pm.. so that mean she woke up from nap between 4-5pm.. i try not to let her sleep in the afternoon..but she is soo tired that she can fall asleep during playing or even eating.. i learn from articles to fix routine..so everynite at 8:30 i will read her 2 books. but after that eventhough she seems sleepy she will keep saying "i dunno how to sleep, i cannot sleep" if she not sleepy i wont force her cos i know it's no use..but someitmes i see her almost fallen asleep then she suddenly get up and say "i dunno or i cant sleep" any similar experiences out there?

My daughter's hair lately hasen't been as lush and curley as it was a week ago. I've tried different shampoo thinking that would help but not really. Is this normal, is she loosing her pretty curly hair? What should I do? Plus she doesn't have a whole lot of hair to beggin with, but I don't want her lush curls to go away! Any suggestions?

He eats lots of different crackers, breads and cookies, dried fruits (not fresh). He eats a great variety of jarred foods, but won't eat our version of sweet potatoes, only the jarred kind.
It's very difficult when we go to birthdays and restaurants and we have to bring his own food. I'm also sad that he's not doing what most kids his age are doing when it comes to food. The doctor just says, "keep introducing foods". We do, but he still will only eat the jarred foods.
I've been told by some to get rid of the jarred food and let him go hungry until he eats our food, but that seems really harsh.
The doctor assures us that he won't go to college on jarred food, but I really can't figure out how or when he will make the transition.

In about a week we are flying to Disneyland with our 2 year old daughter. We are staying at the Paradise Pier and flying into Orange County airport. Bad part, we have to bring the car seat because the airline requires it. Any tips or suggestions to make this vacation a pleasant one?

My 3-year-old nephew had an accident while sleeping on my couch. It's a microfiber couch. I used the cleaner that came with the couch, but it didn't work. I tried Out!, which is used to remove cat urine. That didn't work. Any suggestions?

He screams with glee, frustration, happiness, when he wants something, when something is taken away, even at the dog. I think he enjoys it. But my eardrums don't. He is my 4th child...I should know how to conquer this...but none of my other kids were screamers. If you firmly tell him "no"...he cackles off laughing hysterically.

My 26month old son is showing many signs of readiness to potty train; such as a dislike for dirty diapers, letting us know when he has gone, and all the physical abilities to use a potty chair.

I'm not sure if he has learned to recognize the urge to go or if he just pefers telling us when it's time to change his diaper. Should we try to start toilet training him or wait a while longer?

We're struggling that's why i cant be a stay at home mom anymore so im going 2 get a job. Problem is that his sis is a free loader.I told my hubby that we're gonna end up paying for her sister's responsibility to pay a babysitter, he said he's willing to do anything he can for his niece if his sister is struggling. He's right partially but she's out of the house living w/bf both work and she goes 2 school. I dont see why we should pay for our niece when she has working parents. My sis in law always claims she's broke thats why she cant pay cellphone, school, babysitter, pampers.baby needs etc. I say her bf needs2 grow sum balls and work harder. my husband says i cant judge them about their money i say they can judge us and pin on us to pay their babysitter. I know this will happen cus she cant even pay me when i watch her kid, much less the new babysitter. and since the kids are goin 2b together w/babysitter i know this will happen he says he is willing 2 pay so they can grow up 2gether

Out of stubborness my toddler out of the blue has stopped using his manners. Im not strict about other words such as please and your welcome, I mean he's only 2(that can be taught in time) but I have been strict with thank you. Should I impose it on him and not give him what he wants or should I let it be? Im not quite sure he understands when I tell him "say thank you." And I feel really guilty hearing him cry. HELP!

There are laws that state that dogs that are known to be aggressive have to wear particular collars so other dog owners know to keep clear of them in public. That makes sense. Why shouldn't kids that are known to be hitters and biters have to be easy to recognise too?
