Is anyone else's child experiencing growing pains. My daughter is only 5, and she has either pulled a muscle or is having growing pains. Has anyone else been through this with a child before?

She used her potty once so she knows its okay to pee without her diaper on but now she keeps pulling her diaper or pull ups off and peeing on the floor. What can I do to brek her from that so she will still want to potty on her toilet?

We took our dd to Chucky Cheese last Sat for the first time. It was okay. We definitely decided that Chucky Cheese was NOT the place for her 3rd bday. That place is wild. It'll have to be for a year when we trust her to run off & play by herself....I don't want to have to follow her around and watch/help her ride things.

Any ideas...it'll be in Jan (yeah, it's REALLY early), but I'm sick of the home parties...Hmmm...please, help.

TIA - thx in advance

Is a piece of toast (wheat bread) with butter and a bit of jelly, along with some fresh fruit, an ok breakfast for a toddler? Not every single day, but a few days a week?

She goes pee very well in the potty (without being told to) but she poops herself instead of on the potty. I always have her in underwear, hoping she wouldn't like the feeling of being poopy but it does not work. HELP! (serious answers only)

My son is a kindergarten student and is very excited about being in school. The problem is I don't think the teacher handles her classroom very well. He gets a note home every other day and this is only the second week of school. In his Pre-K class he had a firm teacher who didn't allow that silliness in her class and he never got notes home, she had control of her class. This lady told me she's been taching for 26 years and I'm wondering how since it seems to me she has no control. I have punished him for his actions but I;m starting to think maybe some attention to her needs to be paid.

My daughter is 3 1/2 years old. I am having the worst time trying to get her to listen to me. She doesn't do what she is asked, and she doesn't eat her dinner, no matter how hard I try to get her to eat, all she wants is junk food, sometimes she goes for a long time without eating anything, because I refuse to give her just junk food, I figure, if she is that hungrey she will eat regular food. Sometime's it works sometimes it doesn't.
She is driving me absolutley crazy...
She doesn't go to bed until about on average 11pm, and she just now started to sleep in her own bed. I know she has always been very spoiled as a baby, and still is to this day, but I just have a problem with discipline. I put her in timeout constantley throughout the day, I do not believe in spanking, so if that is one of your suggestions don't bother answering.. , I am a single, young mother, and I want to know what other mothers do to discipline their child. OR reward their child. Thanks so much!

My daughter is almost 3 and is not potty trained yet. we are concerned. She dosent seem to wan to learn and cries when we mention going to the potty. We have tried different approaches such as a video, offering her rewards and even the old dont you want to be a big girl? She does want to be in the bathroom when we go but still is not interested. Is this normal? What is considered late for toddlers to be potty trained? She is 3 in october.. should we be worried and any ideas what we should do?? HELP ,

My daughter is 2 1/2, and she is only sleeping 5 or 6 hours a night, and she wakes up 1 or 2 times a night. She also is incredibly overactive. i have tried all sorts of routines, cutting out tv, making sure shes not getting junk food, herbal teas, aromatherapy, every suggestion from every parent and doctor, even a movie once every night at bedtime. every single thing worked for one or two days. then it would never work again. I even took her to a sleep disorder center last month. they told me it was a discipline problem. i could see why they would think that, because i have become so desperate for sleep that recently I will turn on cartoons and dose off next to her. But it wasn't always like that. She has been this way her whole life. she's mostly well behaved, (other than a few typical things) and she has always been on the quick side of developement, doing things very early. And boy is this kid smart! shes every parents dream....but the sleep! I don't know what to do!

I have a two year old and our routine is watch a little tv in the morn(1 hour). Listen to music( kids nursery songs) for about 1 hour while we dance and color. we have a paint day activity. play with toys, read, go outside to the swing set, (1 hour). clean-up, lunch, and a nap. most days are like this, some days are different because of errands out side of house.
Problem is I cant get her two say her numbers correctly. she knows the letters E, A ,O when i write them down or she will see them and point out. what to do?she also says everthing is hers (MINE)! I know that kids do this but how can I brake the habbit?
