I know at this age we are all concerned with are kids eating well. However, meat often presents a challenge for kids. If not cooked properly or cooked to long meat is not an easy food to chew and lets face it, when our kids are hungry they want quick satisfaction, not something that takes over a minute to chew. Feed him dishes that have shredded chicken (like casseroles) or make spaghetti sauce with meat and put it in a blender before pouring over his noodles. Try everything with him, from ground beef to fish. You can even use boiled eggs for a source of protein. If he still resists you may have to introduce him to tofu, some children's bodies don't digest meat well. Often when children have allergies or intolerances to foods they will refuse to eat them, and forcing the issue may result in a serious power struggle. There's something to be said for the daily vitamin...

I myself am a vegetarian. Is he grossed out with meat? If he is, you could give him meat subsistutes and vitamens, otehrwise, I'd suggest that you diguise the meat as other stuff and let him know that he can only eat his other foods after he eats the meat. Or you could over to take him somewhere at the end of the week if he eats all his meat for that week.

My son didn't eat meat for the longest time, I just kept giving it to him at meals and not forcing the issue, I also found ketchup helped a lot.

My son also will not touch any meat. He does however like peas so I make him peas and mix in soy beans. They almost look the same and he loves it. I also give him some of the Naked Juice brand protein juice. I just fool him.

my 4yr old is the same way, I get all beef hot dogs, corndogs, and natural beef hamburgers. that helps
we also raise our own goats for meat, suprisingly he loves goat any way I fix it.
experiment with different meats, ground turkey, different fishes, fix different ways,
you will be surprised, and find some new dishes you like too.

Leave him alone. My father forced me to eat stuff I hated and I won't touch it till this day. My son was the same way. Some kids outgrow it. You can keep introducing it to him at meal times. Just don't harass or nag him.

Try and make his plate fun. Try and create a smiley face with the food. This makes dinner time fun and they usually eat it all. This worked for me, I hope this helps you.
