normal food will feed your baby up faster because theres more substance in it.
Give it some time and his tummy will adjust, it also has to do with milk intake as well if he is 13 months old.. he should only be drinking 8-16 oz a day.
I had the same issues with my son when he was 14 months old.. he is now almost 2 and he eats like a cow..lol, give him some time.. all is well :o)

THis is normal...he'll also seem to start getting PICKY around this time...my son is almost 3 and won't eat hamburger(unless from a fast food place) or chicken UNLESS I make is with honey sesame glaze..I wonder if maybe we THINK they should want more..when in actuallity..they are full!...Give him time to adjust to eating real food..you'll find it's sooo much easier without all those jars...GOOD LUCK!

babies aren't supposed to be eating jarred or regular food under the age of 1 1/2 years old. i know that may seem a little old, but their digestive and other systems have to be ready for everything else besides breast milk.

well for one thing...your baby will not starve himself....he will eat when he is hungry....jar food is like watered down stuff.....and the real people food is good....my 2 yr old was like that for a while when i first started trying him out on different food...but he will let you know when he is hungry and when he has had enough

They go through finicky eating stages . At first , sometimes table food seems strange to babies and they seem to eat a little slower .Just be careful not to give too much at one time because they choke . I once saved my neighbors' newborns life when she tried to feed a 2 week old baby table food . He turned blue and stopped breathing .

well my son naethan was pretty much the same way but the just have to adjust its a change for them and their bodies are getting used to certain parts of growning up. don't just snatch him off jar food and put him on the food we eat slowly mold him into it that way he can get used to the change and adapt

Solid food just "sticks" with the baby longer than strained foods did so he isn't as hungry all the time.

Be thankful, when he's a teen you will wonder where the bottomless pit came from.

just keep it up, and do not back down. they will eventually like the real food better, and hate the jar food!

i began out my daughter with steamed vegetables like toddler carrots, yellow and eco-friendly beans, peas and so on. For meat i've got been given a mini grinder and floor her meat like chicken up rather effective. you may giver her yogurt and little products of fruit. you may provide her eggs yet in basic terms the egg white for now they are announcing you shouldn't feed a toddler below 3 egg yokes, shellfish, honey or peanut butter.I extensively utilized to make rotini pasta (spinach, tomato and common)and combine it up with a small quantity of common yogurt and he or she enjoyed it.try your toddler with an excellent sort of healthful meals and that they gained't be choosy eaters whilst they become previous.I additionally did not enable my daughter any soda or candy till she replaced into 3 and have faith it or not she hates soda and could chosen fruit over candy any day! have relaxing with your toddler they advance up so quickly.
