My daughter goes to a developmental preschool and since she began attending she has developed in leaps and bounds. She started when she was one and she is now fourteen months and a walking talking little explorer. Play school will giver your duaghter the chance to watch and learn from other kids her age and it also will give her a chance to refine her socialization.

Well according to my text, children are no better off that are sent to daycare, but it has been my experience that my daughter being in daycare was an excellent experience for her, she is an only child, so it allowed her to develop social skills and I believe that she was mimicking what the other children were doing, so it aided her in her potty training, but now her center is closed and she has regressed and has lost interest in using her pot and she doesn't want to share like she used to, simply because being at home with no one to share with, she has lost this simple social skill, so I would definitely send her, especially if she is an only child and is not around any more toddlers her age, we like to be around people, it's only normal our babies would too

Absolutely. I think the earlier you start them, the better. Socializing is important for children of all ages. Also, it will make it much easier for her to transition into elementary school when the time comes (never hurts to think ahead!)

all schools are good for social development, I have only seen two homeschooled kids who turned out better than most kids who are not home schooled, Ii think its because they were mormon or something. freaky. Anyways, yes preschool, kindergarten, and the rest are great for kids. just make sure you love your kids and you do the best you can to raise them, and life is good.

I would recomend a Mommy and me at that age. Shes too young to be on her own at a facility with out a parent.
Play groups are good too.
Sounds more like a day care that they are trying to promote.

They are great for a child's social development. They learn how to get along with other children, to share, and it cna help develop their imaginations.

yes, definately send her. check it out first and make sure they have a drop in policy so you can see what goes on. social behavior is developed, the children learn how to share, tolerate different behaviors, and develope verbally and emotionally.

it helps with their social skills and learning how to interact with other children their own age. But kids also pick up dirty habits, like bad words or behavior
