He just turned 2 and has been potty training rather well since May (2nd birthday). All of a sudden, every once in awhile, he insists on peeing outside. I don't believe he's seen anyone else pee outside. One time he was playing outside in the sprinklers and I let him pee in the grass (he was nakey anyway). A couple of days ago he would NOT go in the bathroom and peed out in the backyard in the dirt (he did this twice). The next day, he insisted on peeing in the shower!!! And now it's back to the bathroom without any problem.

Has this happened to anyone else???

Ok, my daughter will be 3 in 9 days. She will not go on the potty. She cries every time I put her on it. I have had her run around naked (which my husband says is the dumbest thing he has ever heard) and I even try using regular underwear. Also how old are kids when they learn their abc's and counting?

my 18 month old son has a habit of hitting his little sister with objects or he likes to sit on her. Is he just trying to play or is it a jealousy issue. any suggestions would be appreciated.

My 11 month old daughter is teething. Usually she is a very good baby but when her teeth come in, I know she is in pain and she cries all the time. I try to keep my patience with her as much as I can but after a week or so I just cant handle it anymore. I am at my wits end!! I will scream at her and I know its not her fault. Im just wondering am I the only mother in the world that screams at their baby?? Dont get me wrong, I love her to death and would NEVER hurt her. After a week of crying, how do you feel and what do you do?

I'm babysitting my cousin who will be 2 in October and his parents are trying to get him to stop drinking a bottle. He keeps asking for one though and my mom said to give him his bottle only with water. Isn't this defeating the purpose? Or does it actually make a difference?

My son, who turned three in March, is a natural born nudist. He loves to run around naked. Only in the house, we make him wear clothes outside. It doesn't bother us or his sisters to see him this way, my only concern is if it is a heath or safety issue. Is it ok to let him run around the house naked?

My working hours are not specific so they are times whereby i am too tired to pick him up from my mum's place. Sometimes, i feel guilty not having to spend more time with him. Thus, i try to give in to him whenever possible. But I do not want to pamper him to much. At the same time, I do not want to demanding or strict.

My almost 2 yr old has some odd temper tantrums. He just lays down belly first flat against the ground and cries, almost like the scene in Lilo and Stitch where Nani is trying to talk to Lilo. He pushes my hand away when I try to touch him, and screams if he sees me even remotely near him. If I get too close, he'll crawl a bit away and then lay back down and cry more. Any suggestions as to what to do?
Nothing is obviously wrong when he does it, like his diaper is clean and dry and he's not hungry or thirsty, cold or hot, etc. I just don't understand it and am open to others who have dealt with this kind of thing.
Thank you.

My husband and I just bought a vintage kitchen range with the knobs on the front.. at the time I bought it I didn't consider the fact that my toddlers would be able to reach the knobs to turn it on.. does anyone know if there's anything out that I could get for the stove that would prevent them from being able to turn it on?? If so, what is it called and where can I get it?? Thanks!

support more than he has. My child is 4yrs old and I just filed like less than a year ago. Since then my babies daddy has quit a job and been fired from two jobs. Currently isnt working. In all honesty I'm tired of the hassle. Tired of calling child support office and waiting months before I start getting child support again. I'd rather him just sign his rights over and pay nothing. Any advice on how to get his rights taken away? He does drugs and is abusive. A very unfit father. I guess I need advice on what to do on my child support situation or how to get his rights taken away without it costing me lots or money? Can somone please help me?
