I've tired cutting off fluids at 6PM as well but that is not working because most of the time, he still is wet by morning. I also try to make him up in the middle of the night but he is so much in a deep sleep that he acts like he is in a comatose. I know the deep sleeping is the problem because he can't feel the sensation that he should get you get when you have to go. What can I do to make him sleep lighter so he can recognize the urge?

full sentences, knows the alaphabet and numbers 1-20 written and the can say them, colors, animals, shapes are all not a problem...she does the puzzles with 20+ pieces...I am running out of ideas. Please dont get the idea that I am a pushy mum cause my daughter spends plenty of time out doors on her playground, playing with playdoh, drawing and painting with all kinds of things. I am a stay at home mom and have plenty of time to spend with her so I do things with her all day but we are just running out of ideas. Should I be taking the next step and getting teaching her to read and write properly? She already recognises 20+ words and Im not sure if she has just memorised the book but she read a few sentences recently. Any ideas or comments (constructive please!) would be very helpful...

I'm thinking of the jigsaw puzzles with about 6 big pieces. Are they usually for kids a little older, or is she at a good age for them now?

I spank my daughter and when we go out she tells people "My mommy hits me" She went up to my neighbor today and told her this and I was like "Hey, do u think people are going to save you? Is that why you are telling people that I hit you?" I was furious. Why is my child doing this to me? I'm afraid she might tell the wrong person and I could get in big trouble for spanking her, but my whole life all I've known is spankings and If I dont spank her she will grow up with no fear or respect for me, what do I do.

My son is 2 1/2 and he acts shy when he gets around certain people. He's not in daycare right now and b/c of my current situation we don't get out much. He talks, plays, and everything when me and his dad go to the store or whatever, but when he's around old friends and family he acts real shy and won't talk at all.

On the other hand, I'm shy and my mom was shy, so that's why I'm thinking it could be genetics.

So my question is does him not interacting with other children make him shy or could it be his genes?

I used to baby-sit my sis-in-law kids for 2 mths. The kids come and go unexpectedly. Due to the mom's rashness n stubbornness, she takes away my joy. I love the kids, both boys. The bro is 5yrs, baby is 10mths. I love the baby more. Now, my house is quiet again no joy, no laughter. What to do now?

My 3 year old son goes away rarely for the weekend with grandparents and godparents. We take very good care of him and show him love and care, but whenever they bring him back, he cries and tells them he doesn't love mommy and daddy. What can I do? It's breaking my heart!

He is on the right track. He does usually go pee-pee when I ask him to sit on his potty. When he does this, he gets a new building block to add to the set he already has...he loves to pick new ones out. Unfortunately he does tell me when he needs to go potty, so I'm not sure how to get him to go poop on the potty.

He doesnt have sweets only when he is at a party so i know its not all those E's they put in food today. Please help im at the end of my tether!!!!!!
