Children are just that way. It does not mean that he does not love you. Children have an endless capacity to love his parents and grandparents. You will have the most influence in his life. He also needs his grandparents for love. Some day they will not be around. The love they have given him will last for the rest of his life. One day, you will have the opportunity to be a grandparent. The cycle will start all over again. Good luck!

First of all, does he do this after visiting anyone else? Could it be something THEY are doing to scare or worry him? (perhaps unawares) If not, the best thing would be to let him visit them more often, if possible. That would take away some the the rarity. Aside from that, you have to know that children cry. They have feelings and will express them. Remember to stay loving and accepting while he is going thru this challenging time. Good luck.

maybe his grandparents treat him better than mommy and daddy does. i have the best solution to ur problem. either dont send him away like that cause it can make a kid think his mommy and daddy dont love him.. or treat the kid better theres something wrong cause a kid aint just gonna be like that after spending the weekend with hih grand parents. hell when my youngest son was born and my oldest son had to stay with his grand parents he was very happy to his mommy and daddy when he came home he cried when he had to leave the hospital and mommy had to stay so u need to figure out what thay are doing or telling that kid to make him be that way

Try making it a mommy and daddy day when he comes home so he knows it's fun at home to and mommy and daddy do love him. Don't worry too much about it. He'll grow out of it. At that age he love being with other people, well any kid does. Good luck.

If they don't see your child that often they might do allot of fun things just because they can and it's called spoiled...grandparents do that and it can be very frustrating. Go to the park with your child(ren) on weekends, have finger painting and play days things that are inexpensive but still fun for a young child.

That's just what they do!! Grandparents get to just ENJOY the kids, because they have parents, grand parents are suppost to be fun. He's crying only because he had so much fun eating junkfood all day, staying up late, and eating with his hands, grandma doing everything for him. Back to reality , sometimes sucks. I know I think going back to work after holidays makes me want to cry
It's normal!!

Stop letting him go away from home. Until he realizes he can not do you that way he will keep crying. Tell him that if he cries he can not go back. My daughter did me that way a few times, and it pissed my off cause I hate for her to stay at my mother-in-laws house. When she comes home she is whinny, sassy , and lazy. MiMi does it all for her and gets her all she wants. I would love for the world to revolve around me that way.

you cant do anything - grandparents spoil them and parents discipline them, thats their jobs! Nothing you can do, just let him cry it out for 10 minutes!

Have some fresh baked cookies and a new library book to show him how much you missed him.
