My 2 1/2 year old drew on our walls yesterday, how can I erase his art? is it possible that he was acting up because we have a four-month-old baby? He acts very loving with his brother...

Mr Clean Magic eraser, and yeah he is probably acting out because of the baby. My oldest son adored his baby brother, but in the same turn was kinda punishing me for the attention that I gave the baby. I just made sure that I spent lots of time with both kids and made sure that each of them know I love them.

I'm really interested to see the answers you get to this question as I have quite a bit of crayon art to remove from my walls as well.

I would only offer one caution. I have tried the Magic Eraser, but you need to be careful if you have flat paint. It left marks in the places that I used it where we had that type of paint ... I think it probably works better on semi-gloss. But I would try it in an inconspicuous place first.

P.S. I have a 4 month old baby also, and an almost 2 year old. While my almost 2 year old absolutely adores her baby brother, she has gotten a little more mischevious than she was before we brought him home (intentionally doing things she knows she's not supposed to do, etc.). I just chalk it up to trying to get her share of the attention, and try to give her some extra love & hugs.

The magic eraser from Mr. clean will wipe the crayon off and w/o hurting the paint. He's 2 I don't think he colored on the wall out of anger over a sibling.

I can verify that Magic Eraser works! It even works on hard to clearn counter stains, even stainless steel sinks and stovetops. You can even use it on your car rims and clothes, too. I'm not sure how it works - kinda scary if you think about it. Don't rub your kids with it!
Oh, and I guess you've figured out - buy the washable crayons next time.
If all else fails, weren't you ready for a new paint color anyway?
You might consider doing one wall in a bedroom with the paint that turns the wall into a chalkboard. Very cool, and comes in colors other than "chalkboard green"!

Will all kids love to color even on walls nothing you can do about it. Except give him some paper to color on or go and get an art easel at a second hand store, or a new toys store or garage sale and put some paper on that and let him color away. As for cleaning the walls I hear Mr. Clean has a scrub sponge that can be used on any surfaces and can clean almost any stains. Also if he potty train enroll him a pre-school program there he be out of your hair for a couple of hours and then you don't have to worry about colored walls.

Try using the Mr. Clean eraser it is with the cleaning supplies in the grocery stores. If you use the WD 40 and Goo Gone they leave an oil stain on your wall and will never come out because it is oil based.

The miracle of all miracles is: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

I love this product not only will it remove crayon from the walls but it can get the build up off of the fridge handle, it removes soap scum from the tub, and even permanent marker from my son's door ( I had to use a little extra elbow grease with that one). You should try this product, It is AMAZING!

i could not help from smiling, your tale is fairly resembling my 3ry old. :) My spouse scrubs, and scrubs, and scrubs some greater... I haven't any thought what she makes use of as often times it rather works, and generally times it does not. i think of it relies upon on the stress at which the colored wax became extra to the wall. I often merely shop a small quart of paint obtainable and touch up each-now-and then. merely wait till he famous the magic markers.. or some thing else that leaves a terrible stain. :) cheers.
