Is there a child care tied to your workplace? Otherwise I'd ask other working mothers near you where they go and what they like most or least about it. Go and do you homework. The county might have a child care center listing too which might enable you to know where they all are and to compare them. I'd definately stop by to check out the place and get a tour before sending your child there.

preschools are bad for children. unless the mother is unable to read to her child, play games with her child, take her child for walks, etc, in which case children benefit from preschool.

preschool is far to young an age for children to separate from their mothers. preschool is a stupid way for children to learn, it goes against their natural way of learning. preschool is a way kids get into cliques, fads, and fashions far too early and lose their ability to think independently.

if there is anything you can do to avoid sticking your young child in an institutional setting, please avoid it. your child would much rather be with you and will be far better prepared for life, especially socially and emotionally, if you will only raise your child yourself. Preschool is bad for little kids.
