My stepsons are 10 and 7 and really lack discipline. The younger son has been caught several times grabbing other kids' privates. He was premature and has also been diagnosed with ADHD, however my husband uses these things as excuses for his behavior and doesn't discipline him. The older son is a bully, both to the younger one and to both of my children who are similar ages. He is also very sneaky about his bad behavior and has been caught stealing. TWICE FROM THE CHURCH OFFERING!! We have them every other weekend and all summer long. He says he doesn't want to spend all his time with them disciplining. I have told him that if he deals with these issues when they come up, and sets rules for the boys, he won't have to spend all of his time disciplining. They'll learn that there are rules at our house and that things that are allowed at their mothers are not necessarily allowed at our house. This puts a HUGE strain on our marriage and makes it impossible to warm up to the boys.

seem a little wimpy or faggy? I mean pink, purples on dress shirts? Even flower prints. I think alot of the fashion for boys (toddlers/preschool) looks a little gay, do you agree?

My friend is married and became pregnant on accident. She has never wanted children and doesn’t understand why people like babies and kids. She has admitted she is not motherly at all and is selfish.

She feels when the baby is born that she won’t have motherly instincts and won’t love it as much as a good mom would. This isn’t her being afraid of being a mom, so I am not sure if she will feel differently when the baby is born.

Do you think a woman who doesn’t want children and isn’t maternal can be a good mom?

Do you think a woman can give birth and still not love her child as a mother should?

We have a three year old son and I have recently given birth to a baby girl. Our nanny arrived three months prior to her arrival as we thought that would be sufficient time for our son to feel comfortable with her before his sibling came. Our problem is that he doesn't respect the Nanny at all. His behaviour with her is nothing like it is with anyone else. She doesn't really grasp how to discipline or carry forward and get him to do a simple task like brush his teeth. She practically begs him and is not athoritative. We have spoken to her about this on several occasions. Our son never hits, kicks or scratches anyone but for some reason is constantly battling her physically. We are punishing him for it as its totally unacceptable behaviour but at the same time he is going through this adjustment to the new baby in the house and mom and dads attention divided. Short of sending the nanny packing I don't know what else to do??

My ex is filing for an Enforcement Order to physically take my daughter during his visitation. Let me clarify that I have NEVER denied him seeing her EVER.HE refused to visit for 3 years, until September when there was an order, 1 week after my daughter turned 3. He is suppose to have her according to the order 12-5 unsupervised now. She refuses to go with him. She will throw a fit (vomiting). He doesn't interact with her at all when he had supervisied visits. He has also stated that he doesn't want to take her if she isn't ready to go. I asked him to come at 1pm and let her warm up to him then try to take her, he hasn't ever tried that. Last weekend he brought his ex & heir daughter to my house & started interacting with my daughter never has before. He is in a messy custody battle with this same ex over their child I asked him to leave & come alone next time & interact. I know I was wrong. Now he is filing an Order & comtempt of court. I want her to go, but she doesn't. What do I do?

seem kind of gay and *****? Like pastels and flowers and yes even purple and pinks in them. Boys clothes should not look like this...I am thinking of starting y own line, and it would be have belts with metal studs, black pants, black shirts with soemthing other than a dog or soccer ball on them, you know, clothes that look boyish...am I the only who noticed this?

My last question seemed to anger a lot of mothers, Let me make clear, i do not blame the children, they are blameless, i just think the mothers or adults in charge should just be little considerate of others in their area.

Also safety is another factor why young children should always be near their mothers in public. My worst fear is that i will injure someone's child.

Have to say, you mothers are more agressive than a hoard of football hooligans.

I have a question for you and please honestly

If you were out with your child and you wasnt holding or directing child and they suddenly carelessly waddled into my path. i didn't see them in time and collided with them and they were slighty hurt, who would you blame????

Honestly

I see so many "condom breaks" and am I pregnant questions from kids here? Are we not teaching them the value of waiting until marriage? Birth control helps protect from pregnancy, but what about the STD's? Condoms don't help with the nasty ones like herpes and warts. Here are some facts!
-Each year, one in four teens contracts an STD/STI.

One in two sexually active persons will contact an STD/STI by age 25.

About half of all new STDs occur among youth ages 15 to 24. The total estimated costs of these nine million new cases of these STDs is $6.5 billion, with HIV and human papillomavirus (HPV) accounting for 90% of the total burden.

One in four Americans have genital herpes, a lifelong infection, yet up to 90 percent of those with herpes are unaware they have it.

With up to 1.6 million new infections each year, some estimates suggest that by 2025 up to 40% of all men and half of all women could be infected.

So is it enough to say, "Use Condoms" or should we say more?

Why do you mothers with toddlers, let them waddle carelessly into the paths of walking people?. When i collide and injure your child, who will you blame?

Why do mothers with prams trying to get on buses, get on, regardless of the 3 mothers and their prams already on there?

All you will contribute to is, people taking a decade to get off & people can't get on and find a suitable place to stand or sit. While this commotion is going on, your perfect child is screaming its head off and annoying the hell out of me

Also mothers with multiple children on buses, why do you let your children run riot around the bus? Surely you must know that you are p*ss*ng passengers off? Is so hard to keep your child with you at all times? If the yes is yes, maybe you should quit with the baby making

I have two kids, a 16 month old and a 1 month old. I'm sure lack of sleep is a part of it, but i am so frustrated with them. I unfortunately don't have a ton of help from my spouse and/or family and am pretty much doing it all on my own. I have managed to get this far, but i am at my wits end and need to cope better. Can any moms with two or more kids offer some advice on what you did or are doing to keep sane? Or can someone recommend some good websites for tips?

So.. My ex-girlfriend told me she is pregnant, with my child. My ex-wife, thru an extra marital affair, has given me a child. I live in a half way house recovering from drug addiction. My question is.... I dont really know. I love my 3 year old daughter even tho I am not her biological father. My ex-girlfriend and I are broke up but she has decided to keep the child and raise it. Im scared and I know its time to face everything good and bad. I have a good job and will return to it in May, after a 6 month medical withdrawl. I have shown up for my daughter financially and emotionally. She is the biggest reason I am clean and sober today. Can u give me some POSITIVE feedback please.

How can I best help him understand he didn't do a right choice?
He says he's been smoking marijuana from time to time for a year now, and this didn't prevent him to continue with his normal life and get the greatest marks in university.

My 15 year old daughter and her 18 year old boyfriend have been dating for about 3 years now. They both go to high school and have very good jobs working at Walmart making over $100,000 a year. They are very smart and mature for their ages and are very much in love. They are considering have a baby together. My husband thinks that it will be a good idea for them because they will get to learn about responsibility and parenthood all in one. Some of my relatives think that they are too young for this and should wait a couple of years but I don't agree with that. Why shouldn't my 15 year old daughter and her 18 year old boyfriend have a baby together if that's what they really want to do?
