right now, being pregnant, everything seems overwhelming! I think it would be a really good idea to have an older sibling around for the new baby to bond with. An extra set of hands is ALWAYS needed when babies are around. Even one less diaper change a day can be really appreciated!
If she thinks she is moving in with you guys just so she doesn't have to follow rules (maybe she is having trouble with mom?) then make sure she understand what kind of behavior is expected and will be tolerated. Remember it is your house and she must live my your (fair) rules!
Good luck and remember, she is (by marriage) your daughter now too!

I would ask her to wait a couple of months until you can get some sort of routine down with the new baby. If she's an older child or in her teens, she could be a huge help with the baby. My daughter is 11 and helps out alot with her little brothers.

Even if you are overwhelmed that is something you have to deal with. You made that decision by marrying a man with a child that one day she may want to live with him and you should (despite the circumstances) welcome her with open arms. It will be hard but I'm sure if you set a routine from the beginning she will fall right into and it may be an easier transition with the new baby.

You really should have realized this could happen BEFORE you commited to a man with another child. Why should he not allow her to live with you? How old is she? She has as much right to live with her father as you and this new baby do.

As hard as it may sound, you can't put one child before another. Just try to not be selfish and see where it takes you.

When you took the man, you took the child. Think about it, if you already had kids you would want him to accept them.

this is the best feelins to have becouse she will be acoustome to the new born now is the time to show her her brother or sister make her part of the birth
