In a world that we live in today,Why are parents allowing such behavior from their children? In my day the parents would demand respect but the child also felt compassion to give respect.Teenage pregnancy, drugs, alcohol and all the sexual transmitted diseases today why are the parents letting the children run the household?,,And before any one ask,,yes,,, I have 2 girls 16 and 13 and they DO NOT act out in these ways.

I was having a look through one of the windows at my house yesterday and I spotted my 17 year old son spying on his sister (13 years old) while she was going "#2" I was so shocked by the look on his face poking in from the ajar door that I almost fell off of my ladder!

I heard from some other parents that a good way to see what your kids are up to is to get a "myspace" ID and pretend to be their age and get them to add you to their friends list. This is the only way to see into their pages.

Well, I did this. I pretended to be a teenage boy and got her to add me to her list. I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now and we have become very close. Although, as her father I know she has been lying to me about her age. She's 13 but she says she's 16.
Well, 5 nights ago she asked me if I wanted to "cyber." I thought this was some kind of game, but then she started describing all the sexual acts she was "doing" to me. In all the police movies they say to never break your "cover" so I had no choice but to respond likewise. Now we've been cybering for the last 5 nights and what I want to know is how the heck does she know all these sex moves at 13 and how long should I keep doing this with her before I confront her about it?

My husband has 2 kids from his 1st marriage,I have 1,& we have 1 together. He sets rules for all of the kids, but only follows through w/ mine.I want all the kids treated equally! His kids are only w/ us 3-4 days a week, but they're about to come live w/ us full time.My husband travels a lot & I'm concerned what will happen when he's gone. All of the kids have chores, even my 4yr old.But his 13 & 10yr old are never made to do theirs. He tells them to clean their room, bring out their laundry, etc but then never checks to see that it's done....it's not!Same w/ homework & even showering.Part of me says it's not my place to follow through w/ his rules w/ his kids, but the mother in me doesn't want to ignore it & have them grow up thinking laziness & dirtiness is OK. They think b/c at their mothers house they can stay out w/ friends until 9pm on a school night & have no chores that it should be the same at our house. My husband doesn't see the problem & blames it all on teenage stuff HELP ME

He has been taken care by my mum since his birth while I was working. Due to the shift about the job I am working currently. I don't take him home and we get to see each other only once a week whereby I will visit him at my mum's house. We don't have much bonding and he is not close to me at all. By the next two years, I intended and planned to be a full time mum at home. I decided to take him back home by then as I will enrol him into a nursery school. Would he be close to me by then? Should I worry that we don't have a tight bonding now
?

I noticed that my 4 yr old girl/boy twins are left-handed earlier this year. I wasn't happy.. and both of them turning out left-handed really surprised me!
From that time on I bought right-handed desks that would make it so hard for them to write with their left hand. I awarded them points for using their right hand to eat and write. I took off points if they used their left hand. It worked well.. because they want those points to be converted to toys, they listened to me and hardly used their left hand (at least when I am around).
My husband and I took a vacation and we had to leave our kids with my mom (who is a lefty). I don't know why my kids told their grandma (my mom) about what I have been doing to them. Upon our arrival, my mom scolded me for converting my kids (as she says it's bad for them). I don't think I did anything wrong. I converted them gently. After all I am their mom, don't I have the right to discipline them? I love my kids and want to do the best for them.

I am very interested in getting involved with this program but have no clue where to start. Does anyone know? Are any other parents involved or passionate about this topic? What do you feel about even drinking around children? I'm just curious! Thanks!

I don't like to ask for help but it is for my children. I know the feeling of waking up christmas morning and not having anything under the tree and I don't want my children to have to ever experience that feeling. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

I was in walmart (as usual) and I was looking to buy panties for my daughter, when looked over at the training bras- they are padded! WHY! When did this happen? What does a 10 year old need with a padded bra? And thong undies!?

I thought I was pretty liberal- does this concern anyone else? What kind of message does this send?

Have you ever seen somebody with a bad wedgie, and felt like just picking it out?

My friend and I were riding on the subway and we were sitting down. This little kid in front of us had his shorts stuck in his crack. It was so funny, yet it kept bother me. I didn't pull it out of him though.

Stories? haha

This is my first serious relationship we've been dating 6 months and I'm starting to get bored, I'm starting to think that I don't want to have to worry about children, ex wives, and life like this right now. what should I exactly do? I care about him, but we're always arguing cause of it. I don't want to see him go but I don't like this anymore. Not now atleast.
