Yes it is true in all women. I loved the question.. what if I have a c-section. The womans body goes thru the change via chemical reactions in the body long before the delivery so the body doesnt know to not administer the chemical. NOT all women have a big enough change to show a difference. Some women actualy shrink back down.
Think of it as mother natures way of giving women an hourglass figure.

What is the pelvis?
The pelvis consists of two iliac or 'hip' bones joined to a wedge shaped bone, called the sacrum, at the back. The two 'hip' bones are connected at the front by a stiff joint called the symphysis pubis. The joints between the sacrum and the 'hip' bones at the back are called sacro-iliac joints. All of these joints are stablilised by a dense network of ligaments, which means that under normal conditions, very little movement occurs.
What happens to these joints during pregnancy?
In order to make your baby's passage through your pelvis as easy as possible, your body produces a hormone called relaxin, which softens the ligaments in your pelvis. As a result, these joints move more during and just after pregnancy.
There is no reason for these ligaments not to return to their original status after birth, so in answer to your question "maybe".

Yes, hips widen due to the hormone Relaxin opening the hip joints up so the baby can pass through easier. They do not return to the pre-pregnancy state 90% of the time.

yes from a scientific view the hips ALWAYS change somewhat it may not be a noticeable change to the naked eye thou. When a women dies a mortician can tell from her pelvis how many children she has had. It's not possible to birth a baby and not have SOME pelvic bone changes. it can be a inner change thou from the outside you can't always tell she may still have a great figure wear the same clothes but the bones will have a change. i'm pregnant with my 3rd baby my body is still nice i know the pelvis is not the same internally.

A women's hips get wider at Puberty due to hormone change to prepare a female for pregnancy in later life. During pregnancy they may vary in size slightly but nothing major, most growing is done prior to having a child.

Yes, it is true- but it is also scientifically proven that men are more likely to be attracted to women with fuller hip rather than smaller ones!
