There are a lot of sites that you can look on like fisherprice.com, playschool.com, etc that you can enter the age of your son and they will suggest great toys.

Hey wassup chika i thought that i was probably the only young person here but i see theres people even more younger than me.
But anyways don t feel like you made a mistake in the past or anything because god through that mistake in you r face so that you can face what life is about and so you can see that its not a game being a mother.A great christmas present for your son will always be for you his mother to be there for him but you know kids also always expect to get gifts so they have many toys that he would like in TOYS r US that you can check out. You always can teach your son spanish your self its nothing wrong with that.

Dora the explorer or Diego Dolls or DVD's, there are other toys too but those are the only two I can think of right now. my 3 year old makes me watch them all day.
Anyways the bast way to teach your son spanish is to talk to him in spanish everyday.

at one he won't know teh difference about how many toys or nothing so that is good! There are great bilingual toys from leap frog. The are these little frogs with the alphabet, colors and shapes, they sing and they are great. They run anywhere from $40 to $50

If not then just get a talking Diego or Handy Manny

Im glad your strong at heart in your feelings. and you sou like you will do fine as a mother and a freind to your son if God wills. You can look at school supply store where you might find books with tapes that teach and flash cards. And even if not you dont need all thais to teach him. You yourself use your imagination. You can teach him by inventing games, getting spanish books at the bookstore, drawing pitcures and putting the line to the word , make your own flash card and so on. And its cheaper. I hope you didnt give up your studies. Keep up with your own studies to become something for yourself and child. May God give you all the best.

I agree with the very first answer. Baby Einstein! It's available in Spanish. I would check the website, www.babyeinstein.com for Spanish items or your local bookstore. Good Luck and congrats Mom!

i bought a "leap frog " toy for my little one when he was about 1 also. It's like a big stuffed Frog that has soft buttons on it's "overalls" it teaches them shapes, colors and common songs like"itsy bitsyspider" in spanish . it's the cutest thing to hear that in spanish. i found it at a K-Mart. It would probably be on the "leap frog " site too. HAVE FUN W/UR LIL ONE!! It's Called ""Baby Croki"hug& learn baby tad plush-Spanish" this will take u directly to it...just scroll down a little.

I understand that he is a boy...but Dora does a lot of Spanish stuff...plus she has a cousin who's name is Diego. I know they either have stuff in English or Spanish or both. By the way, kudos to you for sticking it out.....kids are a joy. You both have a very Merry Christmas!

I got my daughter a Spanish speaking Elmo doll when she was 1. She's 8 and he's her most valued toy. I'd recommend that toy to any kid. Any age.
