My daughters are 1 and 2 and I put them in the tub with me. It is much more convenient. I could give them their baths then take mine but I know I'd come out of the bathroom and my apartment would be destroyed. Their dad will also put them in the shower when he gets off work in the morning. Most of the time, it's because he's the one that fed them breakfast and they got messy. Other times it's only because He wanted to help me out. Is there a certian age that kids should no longer take baths with their parents?

I mean, why do people who spend 4 or even 8 years in school studying children think that they know more about children then the people who have first hand knowledge of raising a child? I had someone here tell myself and a lot of other parents that our answers were wrong and she knew this because she studied child psychology and education, yet had no children of her own? Wouldn't you think that experience and an open mind would be the better educator then sitting in a classroom?

Wherever we are - grocery store, park, library, YMCA, strip club, church - she always gets away from me and begins taking off all her clothes. We were at the zoo once and she fed them to the goats. I am worried that she might be doing drugs and having unprotected sex with yuppies. Do you think family counselling would be a good idea?

I was thinking I could be an online/ telephone parenting coach. Would you be interested in using this type of service? What would you expect to pay for this service? (With 1/2 hour sessions 1 time per week for a contracted amount of time.)

I'm very mature for my age and my boyfriend is very respectful. We're not sexually involved. He also has never pressured me to have sex with him or any other type of intercourse. Well my mom knows I have a boyfriend and she wants to meet him. My boyfriends looks 19 but he recently just turned 23 this month. I dont know how my mom will react when she finds out I'm going with a 23 yr old. He's a very nice guy! i have always liked older guys because they one's my age are so immature.Has anyone every been in this type of situation. If so , what would you do? I need good advice

It seems people who have major problems with goverment assistane are the SAME people who PROMOTE PRO LIFE views. Seems so double standared to me. Saying it's okay for a teen to not have a abortion : IN FACT SHE BETTER NOT KILL that baby! THEN yelling because she's not working? How can a 15 year old, not have a abortion and ALSO provide all the childs needs? What's the answer 4 a single mom, keep a unwanted pregnancy please pro life, get assistance and Pisss everyone off! This only applys to those who are ANTI assistance and Pro life EXPLAIN your logic to me.

Why is it that there are all these teenage girls that go out and mess around, get pregnant, then sit on welfare? I get so tired of this. My fiance works his @$$ off so we can manage. It sickens me that the more he works, the more they take out to support someone else's kids. He works overtime so we can get ahead, not so they can take more out to support some girls kids. Why is it our fault that these women couldnt keep their legs closed? We have 2 kids of our own to support. I could go out and get a job but it would be pointless. I'd pay more for daycare than I would make because we have 2 babies in diapers. Why can't they just let people choose to pay taxes on welfare. I'd have no problem with getting taxed for welfare if it just went to elderly people. Some of these people getting state assistance have never even worked a day in their pathetic lives. Welfare really needs some reforming, don't you think?

My daughter's father and I just recently split up. I'm just wondering what are the differences between sole custody with one parent having visitation and joint custody where one parent gets the same amount of visitation or time with the child? Also can the parent seeking custody get a state lawyer or only the one being taken to court? My daughter will be 3 in September. I have been the main provider for her. Her father only took care of her while I worked but had no job for 21 months out of the 30 months we were together. He has no place of his own and I'm in my own place, working full time, and going to college. Is there a better chance that I can get sole custody rather than joint because of this?

Parents please tell us which activities you think are best to raise a happy, healthy, well-rounded kid.
