Not dropping her on her head, LOL! When I had my oldest daughter, who is now almost 9, I SWORE I would break her, she seemed so teensy and fragile. I was TERRIFIED I would drop her on her poor little head. I was 20 then. It wasn't as bad at all when I had my 6 year old daughter 2 years later. It was like I was a pro! LOL Now, 6 years later, we're about to do it again and all those old fears are back. so....hopefully, in the next few weeks or so when my son is born, I hopefully wont drop him either! LOL

Let's see, naming her was about the last easy thing I can remember, and she's 14 yrs old now! No, really, she was always easy to feed, getting her to try new foods was easy even as a baby and now, as a teenager, she has a wide variety of tastes and great eating habits. I'm so glad I never had to deal with the "picky eater" type. I think exposing her to a lot of tastes early on had a lot to do with it.

For me I have 4 children, I really don't think it is a easy job! You constantly have to take care of your children to make sure they are safe and healthy.

Think about it! They throw up, get sick, crawling, first steps, shots, buying clothes, pampers, buying formula, I don't know where u c it is easy, I must of had some bad babies. Even colic is not a fun thing! Having ur patience

I don't really think any of my babies were difficult. I think breast feeding was something in the beginning w/ my first child that I really had reservations about, but in the long run, I really think it made my life easier.... No bottles to fix, pack around, heat up, etc.

Changing diapers. After being hounded for years by my grandmother about washing cloth diapers twice a day and hanging them up to dry and folding them just right around the baby and pinning them just so .... My mother was quite relieved that disposable diapers had been invented by the time I was born.

I did not think my babies were hard work, it was when they became toddlers that it became alot more difficult!

General care of an infant is easy to me. I was always told that I wont have time to clean or shower but I never had a problem with that at all. They do sleep alot afterall!

Getting up through the night. I nursed, so that was every 2 hours. It was hard at first, but I got used to it and didn't mind, even when I went back to my full time job.

the amount of down time between the cares of a new baby.

One hour feeding and changing and then one hour of being asleep meant that although i was told that i would have little time for myself after the baby was born that turned out not to be the case.

I thought it would be alot hardier to wake up at night but it wasn't bad at all, if fact it was nice to be the only one up so I got to feed him in peace.

[old mom] the easiest thing was walking out of the hospital with my child ...no instructions, no manuals to read, and a no refund policy [didn't like the no return part ]
