i think cobathing is a sanity saver myself. at the age they are it is fine . but i would have their dad stop about age 3 or 4 . for you it is fine to continue until you know they wont wreck the place. maybe 5 or 6 for you .
i think this gives you time to spend with your girls that is fun time .
it is great he helps you out with bath time . my fiances idea is filling the tub with water and leaving the room while they bathe . so i make sure i do all the bathing or the kids

My daughter still takes a shower with me, and she will be 3 next month. If she were a boy, I'd probably have stopped by now, or switched to showering with Dad. I have had the talk with her about body parts, so it's not an issue. She enjoys being in there with me, and we play and make it fun. It is also way more convenient. It's also something that she only does with Mom, so it's special time, and she knows it. I don't think that I will need to stop showering with her anytime soon. She knows that we are both girls, and until I stop helping her wash, it's not a problem.

I think it is ok for them up to the age (between 3.5 to 4) where they are beginning to become enquisitive, you then need to teach them social behaviours , what you can touch around others, what you cant etc. Also this is a very impressionable age (4) and they will be very proud to tell everyone, that they had a shower with daddy , the last thing you need is child services at your door because, someone at the local daycare got the wrong idea. If the children are educated right, you should not have any problems.

I think it is totally fine at those ages.Maybe around 3 1/2 or 4 it may start to be a problem with Dad but you will be able to tell when they are at the age to stop. Just use your mom common sense.

My guess would be when they are too touchy. I dont know my daughter is 1 and a half and she showers with me occasionally. Like you said, mostly after a messy meal when i already needed to shower for convenience purposes. I guess its different for each family. Stop the showers and baths with your kids when you're uncomfortable with it.
Good luck! :)

Women really should not take baths with their kids because it is possible to transmit yeast Dad are fine. No real age limit but when parent and/or child becomes uncomfortable then it is time to stop.

My son and I showered together until he was about two Only because he was starting to touch things....Now he did shower with his father until he was about 4 or 5 But of course that ended because he wanted to know why he had so much hair everywhere(in certain places) LOL

My daughter was 9 months when i stopped letting her bathe with either me or my husband of course she is very (almost too) obervebent....i think it depends on the child-- i see no reason why until maybe 4 letting them bathe with at least you since they are both girls----

I think its fine!
they are too old to take a bath with you (or your husband) at the same age it is inapproprate to take them into a public restroom of the opposite gender
