And I'm not panicking. We just buy the stuff (the strollers and the books and whatever), and go to the doctor, and all of that. But I'm a grumpy old man: I'm not panicking, or anything. I'm just not geting worried, or anything. But I'm also not going to baby stores and buy outfits or cribs or bassinets or anything.

Am I doing this wrong?

If you had it how long did it last and what was your worst outcome?

my best
friend just had her baby and she claims she is ok but I know she isn't.
Here are her signs I wrote down from Observing her.

1 Being overly worried about the baby.

2 Feeling sad and crying alot.

3 Trouble focusing, remembering, and making decisions

ok so is there anybody who had bigger problems then this?
Im due in august myself and I ready for the worst.

My 2 week old baby is healthy and feeds quite well, I have problems breast feeding but am trying my hardest. I am finding it hard though to get through the housework, cook meals and look after him, and it makes me feel like I am not handling things as well as I could. I am exhausted by mid afternoon. I never expected to be a supermum, but I didnt expect it to be this difficult either. Does anyone have any coping and time management ideas for me?

My mother in law keeps my son while I work and the entire time we're home he wants to just be held or throws a tantrum (8 months old). I think it's because he's being held all day, my husband thinks not. Any comments? We have to get this under control, I can't even go to the bathroom!

I don't have enough breastmilk so I'm trying to add formula to it. I bought Similac (the one you mix yourself) and my 3 1/2 month old son vomitted right after that. TThen I bought pre mixed Good Start and he doesn't vomitt but still spits up a bit after I mix that with his milk. Any recomindations. I don't think he is allergic to the milk formula, because I drink a ton of milk and he is fine with my breastmilk. Whats a good formula out there that won't make my son throw up

I'm nursing my second child and have leg pain in my calfs on a daily basis. This happened as well with my first child during the time I breastfed and stopped afterwards. It is not cramping but more of a dull ache that never goes away. I've tried drinking more water and I take a multivitamin but am still experiencing the pain. Any ideas?

My baby prefers to turn her head to one side when she sleeps, which has resulted in a flat spot. I have done the things that the pediatrician suggested, which include more tummy time when she's awake, propping her on her other side with a rolled towel or sleep positioner, and doing neck strengthening exercises daily. I wonder if letting her nap with her head on a pillow during the day would help? Of course I would be there keeping an eye on her. I've tried it and she really sleeps well when using a pillow. To me, it just seems more natural and would provide more cushioning. We use pillows as adults when we sleep. I know it is too dangerous to let her do this at night when we're not right there watching her, but has anyone tried this during the day? Do you think it has helped to reduce flattening? She refuses to nap on her tummy - I've tried that.

It isn't just on his face, it is all over him. I know there is baby acne because my daughter had a mild case of it, but it was just on her face. I have never heard of it all over the body to such extremes. Also, I thought they got that around 3-4 weeks old, not just days old. The nurses told her that was what it was. I was wondering if anyone had experienced this problem with their newborn.

I have a 8 month old that I have been breastfeeding exclusively since she was born, I have her a bottle with breastmilk in it a couple times when she was first born, but she hasn't had a bottle since she was 2 months old.
I am trying to start weaning her, at least from breastfeeding during the day. But she will have nothing to do with bottles, she laughs at me when I give one to her. She will drink out of a sippy cup, but only if there is water in it. I even tried giving her water with alittle juice in it, and she wouldn't drink it.
I would like my freedom back!!!!!
Do you have any advice for me???
Please only answer if you HAVE been through the weaning process..... I am not done with breastfeeding, I still love it, I just want her to have alittle indepenence!!!!!!
Specially on long trips or when my husbands friends are over.
My husband has never fed her, well solid food yes.. but from a bottle no. And he is feeling really rejected lately that he cannot help me as much as he wants too!
