I'm nursing my second child and have leg pain in my calfs on a daily basis. This happened as well with my first child during the time I breastfed and stopped afterwards. It is not cramping but more of a dull ache that never goes away. I've tried drinking more water and I take a multivitamin but am still experiencing the pain. Any ideas?

I have never heard of leg pain and breastfeeding being related. Hmmmm.... Is there a breastfeeding warmline you can call for help? I'd recommend you speak with a lactation consultant.

That's very strange. As much of a bfing advocate as I am I've never heard of it. You've shared something with me that I will have to look into further myself! Thanks! :o)

Maybe it's the way you sit while breastfeeding? I don't know. Just thought I'd give it a shot! I know my arms and shoulders and wrists get tired from breastfeeding so much and the way I hold her.
