Feel contented if the child looks at you... and turns eyeballs at moving objects... expect nothing more... have patience let her grow...

At 5 months your child should be alert and looking at everything within fairly close range... say... if you're holding your child in teh middle of your family room, there shouldn't be much she's not aware of/attuned to. Able to see all of it, just not familiar with all of it..

I would think you baby's vision should be fairly clear at this age....
