My daughter is only eating around 24 ounces a day. She was eating this much when she was 2 months old and back then it was a lot. She was 12.5 pounds and in the 75th percentile. I thought by now she would be eating more. All the websites say she should be eating around 28-32 ounces a day. She occasionally has a 27 ounce day, but that's it. She has her 4 month app. this week,so I am not sure how much she has gained. She is extremely happy, is playing and hitting all her milestones on time. She has actually hit them all before she should! Is she just destined to have a small appetite? I weighed myself and then weighed her, and it showed her being between 13-15 pounds. It doesn't seem like a big weight gain to me, but what do I know? Is this amount of formula okay for her? She is not on solid food yet, but I am hoping the doctor will give the okay on that....thanks for any advice.

Does anyone have any tips on how to keep my 3 month old girl entertained? she hates her swing... hates her bouncer.. she will have "tummy time" for about 10 minutes, but gets annoyed with that pretty quick too. Mommy is losing her mind since she has a 2 year old too! I've tried peekaboo... works for maybe 5 minutes... we take long walks everyday... go outside... I'll take any suggestions please!

My three month old used to eat 4 oz every feeding. However, recently, she's only been eating 2 oz every feeding and seems to be satisfied. Is this normal?

I have so many it's ridiculous. I have over 6 albums full of pictures that I've taken of her since she was born. She's only 2! Not to mention all the professional portriats of her. I don't know what to do with them. By over 6 albums full I mean have 6 albums full and so many more they don't fit in the albums. I feel ridiculous buying more and more albums because I need to buy so many. What should I do? And what about her portriats, I have so many on my walls already she covers my entire home and I'm having a boy in a few weeks. What do you reccomend that I do?

ok, i breastfeed my baby exclusivly, and lately if im breastfeeding him, my other breast starts to hurt, and i cant figure out why, i made an appt. with a lactation consultant, but i was wondering if anyone else had this happen, i mean, its a strage sensation, almost as if he is sucking the milk out of both breast at the same time?

another thing im worried about, is he is three weeks old, and very seldom do my breast get engorged, although i heard this happens (where they stop) becuase milk finally regulates, but i use to pump too, well i went to pump the other day, and when he was 2 weeks i could easily pump 4 or 5 ounces out of one breast, but now i can barley make 4 using both breast, he is still eating every 2 hours, and so im worried that maybe im losing my milk? is it possiable, or is he maybe just eating more at his feeding so im not getting as much out...

thanks for help

any other things you feel i should know, feel free to add on

ps. im going to a LLL meeting tongi

I am currently 7 months pregnant and my baby moves all day, all the time. Sometimes she moves so much that it gets uncomfortable. Is it normal for them to move so much?

My 4 month old refuses to go to sleep. When he gets tired he just screams until he finally exhausts himself to the point that he passes out. He won't even sleep in his car seat or anywhere without putting up a fight first and it seems to be getting worse all the time. I do the same routine every evening and keep trying to get him to sleep at the same time, but he just cries in his cot and then he cries when I pick him up and screams and screams. Does anyone have any advice for helping me teach him that sleeping isn't something to be scared of and getting him to go to sleep on his own without fighting it?

I'm currently 6 months post- partum and still nursing. I've really wanted to go on a ‘not- too harsh diet’.
Recently I came to this conclusion when I was at Arden B trying on an L as opposed to an S.
I went to the grocery store last week and got eggs, tuna, salad, chicken, and whole -wheat bread. I figured I could do eggs in the morning with toast then tuna for lunch and then finally grilled chicken salad for dinner. In between these meals I feel as if though I'm starving!! I'm currently a SAHM mom. Do you think boredom plays a part?

In full defiance of my 'wanna be diet' I wolfed down waffles, eggs, and bacon for breakfast. Roast beef with potatoes for lunch and salmon with rice pilaf for dinner.
In between I grabbed cheese puffs and cheese sticks as snacks..

How can I overcome being so hungry all the time?

Current Weight 145lbs
Height 5.6

Our nine week old boy seems happy and healthy but sometimes while he is sleeping he wakes up suddenly screaming. He does not seem to recognize us for a few moments and then settles down. Also, his lower lip trembles when he is crying and sometimes when he sucks a pacifer. Is this anything to worry about?

Just wondering about how often a newborn may eat. I know they say every 1-3 hours but I was wanting people with experience to let me know how it went for them personally.

I have a 1 month old baby & I breastfeed him. I heard that while you are breastfeeding that u cant get pregnant again. That when u breastfeed that u cant ovulate?? Really sounds kinda odd... I didnt want to get back on birth control yet & thought that if this is true that I could do it that way... Is there ANY truth to this Or is it just another old wives tale?

My daughter will be a year old in a couple of days. She is still breastfeeding and some people tell me that it is good for her to breastfeed and some tell me that she is too old for it.
