I know what you mean. Our baby is 4 months old and the time has just flown by. They get big SO quick. This is also our last one. It is funny, with the first child you are in such a big hurry to get to next milestone. Then with the last, you wish you could postpone it but it seems like they watch the older children and do everything earlier. It is so SAD. But you still have lots of time to enjoy them. Remember with the first baby you worried about all of these little things that you didn't need to really worry about. The nice thing about having more then one child, is learn the first time around that you can spend less time worrying about all the little things, and more time just loving on the baby and your other children. Just cherish every moment.

I know how you feel. My little girl will be 1 on the 26. It just seems like yesterday I had her. And I know what you mean about missing being pregnant. I feel the same, and my pregnancy was not great either. I had a lot of trouble for a while. But I still miss being pregnant at times. I just cannot believe it has almost been a year since I had her. Time is going by so fast......too fast.

Sorry to hear it wasn't a great pregnancy I had problem with both of mine. When I was pregnant with my son I had gotten Gall Bladder Stone close to the end and spent the last month in the hospital. With my daughter 3 weeks before she was due I was rushed in for Emergency Surgery to have my appendix removed. Today my son is 2 1/2 and my daughter is 7 months old. Yes I feel like time has gone by really fast for me to. I still remeber the first day I brought my son home from the hospital my mom took us home that day and when I got there I put him in his craddle and sat there and looked at him going ok now what do I do. Then the fun began that night when he didn't want to sleep at all. With my daughter I had to have her by c-section because of the previous surgery I had. I remeber the h*** it was to recover from my c-section especially the first night after that things weren't that bad. I understand about the part of missing being pregnant I had my tubes done when I had my c-section it was recommended because my body has a hard time holding on to a pregnancy I have been pregnant 5 times in total.

Just remeber to enjoy every minute with them possible. That was the best advice my grandmother gave me before she passed away in January.

Yes, it's a rough time right now! I remember feeling that way, too, but just take it for what it is - a sign to just enjoy the time you have! My daughter is 17 months old and I wonder the same thing sometimes. But, she is getting so big and so smart that I can't wait for the next day just to see what she'll do. It will pass - it's just an emotional time. And, I imagine it's harder because you know he's your last. I missed being pregnant, too! Congrats on the baby - just enjoy the heck out of him!

I am not sure what causes this effect but it REALLY does feel like time does fly once you have kids! I just had my first grandchild and it is happening with her also! It is a strange thing that's for sure!
