Any ideas other than pink for a baby girl nursery? I don't mind using some pink, but I don't want the entire room pink. Thanks!

My two newborn twins, Arianna and Isabella, are beginning to crawl!!! I had them about a week ago, and they're beginning to crawl. My sister has a year old son, and he still isn't crawling and he's barely making noises. Arianna and Isabella are making sounds, and playing with Rosalina (8) and Desirey (10). My boyfriend said that his grandson, who was 3, was just STARTING to crawl. I'm sorta worried about Arianna and Isabella. Is this normal, and what is a good baby schedule?

I was induced. My son took 36 1/2 hours. I'm just curious about other women. I would like to hear from lucky ones who only took a few hours and those not as lucky.

I was told that breastfeed your baby can actually help your breasts go back to their normal pre pregnancy shape before, is this true? If so, how long do you need to breastfeed?

I do not want to breastfeed directly with my baby who is due in 5 weeks, mainly because I will feel akward. That is just my opinion. I know breast milk is better, so I would like to try a breast pump. What are the cons of using one? Does it hurt? Do they work easily?

having locked our 3 1/2 month old baby girl and the keys in the car yesterday.

I had to pop the windows to get our baby out because the car was like an oven. We stopped by my office for about 1 hour and she went out to change the babys diaper and accidentally locked the car with the keys and baby inside.

The baby was locked in the car for about 3 minutes, our office manager called the fire department, I determined our baby couldnt wait that long so I poped the window.

Has this happened to someone else.

I can NOT get my daughter to eat anything off of a spoon. Some things I'm sure she just doesn't like, but others make me realize that it's just the idea of the spoon that she hates. She eats rice cereal and formula (or breastmilk) from her bottle like a champ. But if I put it on a spoon, she clamps her mouth shut, turns her head to the side and leans it back trying to get away from the spoon, lol. I've tried smaller bites, I've tried everything. I tried giving her some pasta too and she gummed it for a while but then spit it out. I tried baby food on a spoon and she won't eat it, but when mixed into her formula and put in a bottle she gulps it down like it's the most wonderful thing in the world. Any ideas on how to get her to like the spoon? I know giving her stuff in the bottle isn't ideal, but I don't think that's why she won't take the spoon. Anything new, I try on the spoon first.

My son will be born in the very beginning of July and I want to go to the beach for 1-2 days in September. I want to take him with since we will be staying at a hotel. We're gonna pick a day when it's not too hot out. But, is 2 months old too young to take an infant to the beach. We're gonna make sure he's all covered up and under an umbrella and also make sure no sand gets to him...is this ok?

I used to receive Similac and Enfamil coupons in the mail regularly when I had my baby. I stopped getting these coupons recently but don't know why.

Does anyone know how I can continue to receive these coupons without giving all my info to baby websites??

Thank you for your help!

How did you lose the baby weight? I am starting a excercise regiman now, what did you guys do?

He is of 8 weeks. He did like this for last 2 or 3 times. Moreover, he is on bottle feeding. When he was of 5 weeks, he did like this on his circumcision then we thought that he is doing like this because he is on medication. But now he is not on any medication. Is it normal?

I know it sounds like a horrible thing to say or think but my 7 month old daughter is giving us cause for concern. She was learning things really quickly up til about January when she was 4/5 mths, but she hasnt advanced the way i was expecting. She now struggles to sit up, and flops forward, back or sideways. She has been trying to crawl since January and hasn't come on any more, she goes to nursery but doesnt appear to be learning anyhting there, she likes it but seems to have the capabilities of a 4 or 5 month child.I took her to the doctor and she said that "babies develop at their own rate but she is probably teething".
One of her pupils is red but the other isnt, i mentioned this to the doc, and she gave me eye drops for conjuctivitis (which she hasnt got).
When she was born i had a gut instinct telling me that something was wrong, but my family just told me i was mad!

Did anyone elses children appear to stop learning things, and is it a sign of something more sinister?

My baby used to nurse 10min on each breast but recently he only wants to nurse approx. 10-15min max for both breasts.
He will refuse and arch his back after that refusing to drink. I don't know if he has enough to drink. He refuses bottle cos I've been breastfeeding him exclusively. Has any mothers experienced what I'm experiencing now? He'll be 6mths in 8 days time and he hasn't gained any weight for 3 weeks. pls help. thanks.
