Don't worry about it! YOu can have caffeine just not too much. My doctor allows me up to 4 cans of soda a day. I don't drink that much but we can if we want to. Don't worry.

Your baby should be fine. I drank a cup of coffee everyday at work for the first month till i found out i was pregnant, and my baby is fine. Doctors will say 2-3 cups of coffee or 3-4 servings of soda is ok.

I bet youre hearing all these kinds of things will "harm" your baby at this point. Don't believe everything you hear. If you are really concerned about something, ask your dr.

disregard the bunny before me. He/she sounds like theyre 12.

drinking too much caffeine early in pregnancy is believed to cause miscarriages. However, I couldn't hold down coffee or much caffeine during my first trimesters! I'd cut down to one Pepsi a day if you could. Also, make sure they're not diet, because the fake sweetners can affect the baby's developing brain.

not as bad as 3 or 4 beers!!!
Just Kidding.
But in all reality you didn't do any harm to your baby. Caffeine is not good but I'm sure it's okay that you just stopped drinking pepsi. Plenty of people drink soda ll through pregnancy.

sure, it has lots of caffeine, which could convey approximately coronary heart problems in a while in existence. As you stated it additionally expenses lots of money, you are able to desire to shop $10-$15 each week via not eating it, that's extra or less $500 according to 300 and sixty 5 days! additionally there is a large number of sugar in Pepsi, this would improve your possibility for grownup onset diabetes, which will reason you to loose you legs, eye internet site, ability to consume lots of distinctive ingredients. additionally, someone who drink 2 pops each week is at two times the possibility of contracting pancreatic maximum cancers, as someone who drinks one pop each week, so i might say in case you maintain going the way you do, you've got a critically bigger possibility. The severe volume of sugar and the acidic properties in the pop can convey approximately you tooth rotting (no count how lots you sweep them) additionally, only on account which you will not be able to learn fat mass, does not mean that your metabolism won't decelerate as you become older, and on the fee you drink pepsi you will possibly benefit some million.5-2 pounds each week with the quantity caloric intake led to from the pop. desire I helped!

Caffeine CAN cause low birth weights sometimes. But you are very early in your pregnancy and your Pepsi drinking most likely won't have any effect on your baby's weight.

Caffeine in limited quantities isn't a problem (per my own OB). I had one can of Coke per day and my daughter was born weight 9 lbs 8oz. Obviously it didn't effect her birth weight. :)

I pray you'll have a happy and healthy pregnancy and baby.

Surely it wasn't the healthiest thing for the baby but its not like you were smoking 3 or 4 packs of cigarettes a day. I'm not a OB-GYN or a Pediatrician but I'm pretty sure it didn't harm the baby much at all.

3 or 4 cans of pepsi? I wouldn't worry too much. It sounds like it is still within the 300mg of caffeine limit reccomended to pregnant women.

This equates to the amount of caffeine in three cups of instant coffee, six cups of tea, eight cans of cola or eight bars of chocolate.

The Food Standards Agency advises having a bar of plain chocolate, drinking three cups of tea, a can of cola and a cup of instant coffee in a day would meet the 300mg limit.

So try not to worry. Hope this helps x

Start taking prenatal vitamins and improve your diet. It is good that you stopped drinking those as soon as you found out especially if there was artificial sweeteners in it and lots of caffeine.
