Well, I was going to say sex, sex, sex but you're not in the mood, huh? How about you just let your hubbie/significant other have his way with you while you read a book or watch TV? = )
Also, you could walk on a treadmill. I've heard walking helps too. Just make sure you've got your cell phone with you if you are going to venture outside. The light bouncing is supposed to help move things along. No running or jogging though!!! Good luck! I know you want to meet your baby and that this is a long, annoying time. Just think of how you'll finally be able to sleep in a comfortable position soon! It really won't be long now, hon!

I was three centimeters and the head was right there from week thirty-seven until I had her at week forty-two with my second daughter! It does not mean much in terms of when she will come. She will come when she is ready, but labor should go quicker. With her at week 42 I got induced with Pitocin at 11 am. At 6:30 the doctor checked me and I was 6 centimeters so he broke my water and went home. Then at 6:47 I got the strongest urdge to push. The nurse checked me and I was a full ten. They told me not to push, but that wasn't happening...my daughter pushed her own way out before the doctor came back. The nurses had to help me deliver her. Get some exercise...go for a nice walk.

You can deliver anywhere from 37- 42 weeks.
Try walking up and down some stairs.
Go to webmd.com for more info on pregnancy.
Good luck!

You should have asked your doctor these questions. Don't take advice about something like this from internet strangers.
