Thats fine. BUt do not put the seat ontop of a counter or table or on something soft like a bed or sofa.. Floor is safest place... Make sure you stay close by also, if she starts to gag or spits up or something.

Yes. I'm assuming you mean an infant? A lot of moms use the detachable infant carseat for a place to put the baby once they get in the house. As long as the baby is happy and comfortable in there, that's ok. Just make sure the baby is in a safe place, and not where she might tip over and fall.

Bringing in the carseat is fine. Many couples actually have the baby sleep in the carseat in the house. Another idea is a bouncy chair or a swing.

Of course. You do mean the infant car seat that you can carry, right? If you're talking about a booster seat... I would say you're crazy for having to undo the straps and buckles each and every time. But as long as baby is safely buckled in, inside or out of the car, more power to you.
Whatever works, right?!
By the way, my girlfriends son slept in his carseat for the fist 5 months. She would have to drive around the block to get him to fall asleep... and then would just bring him in inside his carseat and let him sleep there.

I think that would be fine. A bouncer is a little better, or a swing. Just be careful where you put the carseat. It should sit on the floor, not on a bed where it can fall over.

They shouldnt be left in the carriers for longer than the car trip (i am guilty of leaving mine in his too... but now i know better and won't do it with my next!)

It can constrict thier breathing and its not a very good position for a baby to stay in.

And i assume you mean propping the bottle up to its mouth? That is VERY dangerous. You should always hold your baby while you feed them. Thats why women can't remove thier breasts, babies NEED the human contact.

Do your laundry while the baby is sleeping, or durring floor time...

Yes as long as they get time out of the thing-young babies can actually get a deformation of the skull from having thier heads lay to one side or lay in one position for too long. That is why young ones need tummy time during the day.

"Plagiocephaly is the misshaping of the head because of molding and weight bearing forces occurring pre- and post-natally on the soft skull of infants."

Yes it is a good idea, do whatever it takes to keep your baby safe and out of trouble when you cannot run after him/her when ur busy doing something. It allows you to have a close eye on your child without having to hold him/her, which would prevent you from being able to do ur laundry in peace.

its fine to bring the carseat in and let her watch you fold laundry but not while she is eating. you should be holding her or she should be in the high chair with you watching her while she is eating

I always chose that over the bouncy seatr. The car seat has alot more protection to it. And I also had my newborn sleep in hers in her crib so I could get a little sleep too. They do that to babies in the NICU. THey spend some time in a car seat.
