It is helping in the beginning to scale back your uterus again to it is usual measurement. It additionally burns plenty of energy. You nonetheless have to consume healthful whilst you're breastfeeding. If you pig out on ice cream daily you frequently would possibly not lose a lot weight, however breastfeeding plus a healthful vitamin and pastime goes to support you're taking the child weight off quicker.

Breastfeeding burns 500 calories per day, so it can help you lose weight. However, it does NOT make your breast sag. Pregnancy makes them sag. Unfortunately, it also does not make them perky =) You should breastfeed as long as you can. It is recommended for the 1st year.

I can tell you that it helps melt away the weight gain. I lost all my pregnancy weight within 6 weeks of giving birth to both my kids... I nursed my son for 14 months (while I was pregnant with my daughter)... and now I'm nursing my daughter... and will be for another year or so. I can't say if your breasts will go back to their original size... since mine have been a milk supply for so long... but I am lop-sided because one breast produces more milk than the other. So for the past couple of years, my left side is double the size of my right side. Thank god for foam pads to even me out.
and it's all worth it....!

I breast fed my daughter for 9 months. I did lose weight fairly quickly feeding her. However, I recently made the mistake of crawling on the floor with my baby naked once. OMG. I looked like a cow with utters. They used to be nice and firm and perky. Now I will be judging my age by how low they sag.
I just hope my child appreciates the sacrifices my body went through just for her.
And I will go through the same thing for my next.

i havent heard that it helps the breasts.. but i have heard that it helps get the rest of the body to lose weight and to help get back your body after pregnancy.. it also helps to make the uterus contract back down to the pre-pregnancy size.

Your breasts will never be the same. I breastfed for 8 months and they droop a little more. However, the pulling from your baby actually contracts your stomach muscles and my stomach was flatter than before (not absolutely flat, just flatter). Because you are watching what you eat because your baby is taking in those nutrients, you will be more apt to lose weight.

Oh my goodness. I wish this were true. Unfortunately, I think the opposite is true. My breasts were small and perky and now they are small and saggy. I will need breast augmentation after I'm all done having kids!
But the good news is, I'm super skinny! Breastfeeding sucks all the calories right out of you!
good luck!
