My aunt said she had to with one of her 6 children because he wasn't satisfied with just milk..My 9 week old started out in the hospital drinking 2 to 4 oz's brfore i brought him home. I really think he needs something other than milk. Please help!!!

No! Doctors have found that giving a child food (even the baby cereal) too early can cause problems, such as with their digestive system. It is normal for a 9 week old to eat that amount that often. It's not that your child is not satisfied, it's just that their belly's can only hold a little amount at a time & can just go through them (in their diapers) fast. If you really think he is hungary, give him more oz, try 5 oz. But babies eat often, they are supose to eat every 2-4 hrs & he will continue to do so for a little while longer. A 9 wk old gets all the nutrien he needs from formula, he needs nothing more.

I think that is too young for cereal. My kids ate that amount every 2 or 3 hours for the first few months. It is very tiring but it will get better. I would talk to your doctor before putting him on cereal at that young of an age.

of course its high-quality, he prefers his food in smaller incriments in the course of the day somewhat than in a unmarried huge pass. each toddler is differrent and that i strngly advise you keep doing what your doing, in case you feed your toddler at the same time as they ar hungry there is not any chance of them becomming dehydrated or going hungry. I hate those who feed their little ones each 4 hours on the dot even with the way a lot they scream. Its merciless for my area are u hungry each 4 hours? no your bloody no longer you devour at the same time as your hungry so might want to your toddler. Your doing high-quality hunny he will allow you to comprehend at the same time as he desires more suitable and if he needs to regulate the agenda u wil haven't any say in that remember lol better of success stylish xx
