please dont ask me why i am doing the both cos it really does hurt me.he was really hungry when i had him and i just couldnt seat down and breast feed the whole day cos i had to do house work attend to my 2year old daughter and also my hubby.
any now i am still breast feeding most of the time and then give formular when i am not there or when out.
i expressed my breastmilk at some point and later stopped cos i noticed he wanted to stop breastfeeding ie taking from me rather than the bottle.
now my question is i am going back to work and am not sure if i should express or just give formular then when i get back from work contiinue with my breastfeeeding.expesing is quite difficult and hectic and am not sure what time i would have to be doing this esp now i am going back to work, secondly i am thinking if i leave an expressed bottle and formular for him he might just refuse the formular then i am in trouble.lastly because i am doing mixed feeding my breastmilk is not quite alot

unfortunately i was not able to breast feed my children, so i don't know this answer...so, how do you know when to burp the baby? my sister-n-law does not burp her daughter unless she feeds her with the bottle.

My 5 week old is bring back a lot of milk up, mainly at the night feeds. Last night she drank 4.5oz (the whole bottle), then screamed for more. We gave her another ounce in a bottle then she sat there and brought the entire lot back up, looked sorry for herself for a minute then cried to be re-fed. We gave her 4oz again and she dropped off shortly after. This kind of thing happens quite a bit and dont know what's causing it if anything. She might just be a sicky baby. We use Avent No.2 teats (she was 5 weeks early and SCBU told us to use them straight away and not to bother with No.1 or newborn teats). She is on SMA gold and I am wondering if its the amount of milk she needs to be satisfied that her little tummy can't cope with, she is quite a hungry baby taking about 35oz per day.

Help ..... by the way the HV told us not to use SMA White but we are seriously thinking of trying it

What's the minimum time (physically speaking) after it that you can go back to work? Do some mothers manage the pain so they can get back as quickly as possible?

ok, my baby has been sick since she was born. well really it was only for a couple of weeks (she was in the hospital for it) well now she has been home for about 3 or 4 weeks now (she will be 7 weeks old on tuse) anyways, i use saline drops (like they told me to in the hospital) when im getting her boogers out. well i ran out of saline (i didnt know it was so low) and the stores are closed, i know that you can make your own with warm water and salt, but i dont know how much salt to add to what amount of water. i was wandering if anyone has made this from home, her ped said that its safe to make it she accually suggested it because its cheaper, but i just would go buy it because its easyer but now i need some to get tell tomorrow when i can go to the store, can anyone help me out with this one? i called the doctors office and it was the night people and they said they couldnt tell me because they are not the peds, which i understand. i just forgot to ask the ped how much of each do imix

I have a 10 month old daughter, that does not crawl and has no intrest in crawling. This is because all she wants to do is be in my arms, and she usually is. Her doctor said that she is 2 months behind and needs more floor time. She screams when I set her down (I know she sounds spoiled). I have been trying to put her down and she cries and cries. I resist picking her up but feel horrible, because I know that she does not understand that it is for her own good. I guess my question is should I continue to put her down, or does it cause her too much emotional pain? I just want to do the right thing, I can oly imagine how helpless she feels.
