Are you talking about a mild learning disability? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Studies have shown that many learning disabilities can be genetic. My step-daughter's mom had a learning disability and she has a milder form of it, and my step-son also has some mild learning problems.

It depends on a lot of factors. One of which is whether the father is disabled due to genetic factors or external ones. If it's external factors then there is no reason why a child concieved with a 'normal' mother would have any problems.

If it's a genetic condition then you should look into how it is passed on. At a rough guess it would be 50:50 whether the child got the same condition, but it would also depend on whether it is passed on by the male or female line and whether either sex can be a 'carrier' for the condition.

theres less of a chance if its only one parent, but youll never know unless u go for it, sometimes we cant just sit there wondering, 2 normal parents can have a baby with problems, you really get what u get, just pray and ask god to give you a healthy baby, and u will b blessed
