Try feeding him/her and if he/she eats then they are hungry if they push it away then they arn't. Try burping or changing their nappy then see what happens. Maybe they are over tired.

my daughter is 7 weeks old and she will show no signs of being hungry, and then all of a sudden she will just start screaming and sucking on her hand, what i do now that i kind of know a round about on her scheduale is i just kind of time them. she eats about the same time give or take an hour. its hard in the begaining but it starts to get easyer, you will get the hang of it. good luck

you should know if your baby is hungry if he sucks on his hand or fingures, crying,or when u pick him up he tries to suck your shoulder off. that is how mine did when he was younger.

i think u need to feed your baby every 3 hours! you may even need to wake her/ him up to eat. they would rather sleep. please look into some parenting help
it is nothing to be ashamed of. parenting is tough.
