Some men say boys so they can have a bud to watch sports with. Some women say girls so they can go shopping together. Which do you prefer?

I know each baby is unique when they get their teeth in- I'm just wondering what the average schedule is on when they get their lower 2 and upper 2. Thanks!

I'm now in the process of looking for a good and safe car seat for my first baby but have read some user comments about the Flex-Loc. I was looking online to see what it does but could not find any documentation. If you know of any site or if you can explain the difference we will greatly appreciate.

Thanks!

My 2 month old son co-sleeps with me and my husband. He has colic and is a very needy baby. But I really want him to start sleeping in is crib so that I will be able to rest as well. I've tried to get him to sleep in is crib a couple of times but as soon as he realizes I'm not there he begins to cry and will not fall asleep on his own. What is a good age to begin transitioning and does anyone have any tips on making it easier?

"Oh yeah, if it's my baby, it belongs in my home," Von Anhalt said. "I'm going to take good care of it. I will be a good father."

This is a quote from Fredric Von Anhalt, 59-year-old husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor. If you missed the news, Anhalt recently claimed he fathered Anna Nicole Smith's daughter and has provided a DNA sample for testing. Now, my question is just why does Anhalt repeatedly refer to the child as an "it"????

I know alot of mother are strickly against what i am going to ask but, I have a 8 week old baby who has been on SMA white for about 5 weeks now, he has 7 oz in his bottle every 3 to four hours and for the last week has been wanting more food. I have tried giving him water which he has 3 oz of every day to avoid constipation, so i know he is not thirsty. for the last three nights I have been giving him 1/4 of a tsp of rice in his milk at night and it seems to have settled him. The question I am asking is. Is this a wrong thing to do and how many other mothers give their babies rice ?

My 4 month old daughter had a strange colored stool awhile ago. It was green with bright yellow stringy things in it. I always freak out about her stool because when she was a few weeks old she had blood in her stools and was changed to neocate formula because she has a milk protein allergy. Is this stool normal for any formula fed baby, or is it a sign of a virus?

I have a baby who is getting ready to crawl, but I also have a cat. My husband and I have considered buying baby gates to keep my daughter out of the bathroom (where the litter box is), but our cat is not so good at jumping over things. I'm worried that whatever will work at keeping my baby out of the bathroom will keep my cat out as well.

My husband is looking at switching to a QC job in the company he works for, and that would entail working 12 hour shifts starting @ 8pm. I'm not too crazy about this since we are supposed to have our first baby in a few weeks, but I'm sure I can manage while he's working - plus he'll only work 2 weeks a month. Anyone else have this experience?

I can buy a brand new Medela Pump in Style Advanced Breast Pump online for $228 total, this includes shipping and tax. It sells at Babies R Us for $319 + taxes.

When my baby is 3 months I plan to go back to work 6 hours a day and I want to pump twice during my work day during my two 15 minute breaks.

Do you think it's worth it to buy this pump since I will be a working mother? I am a first time mom so I need advice about breastfeeding when you are working.

I have a 9 mo. old son and I am honestly burnt out. I take care of him from 630-7am until 530-6pm when hubby gets home. There's virtually no one to help me during the day that's generous with time. Some days he doesn't sleep more than 20 mins until 2pm (like today). I just feel like I am going to explode with stress and I am very tired/emotional since birth. There's just no time for me. I take a 10 min shower; I try to do everything to save time.
I do all the dishes and chores during the day to make us time and I feel like I am doing 95% of the baby's caregiving. My hubby gets home 530, and baby goes off to bed 730. He barely takes care of him because the baby sleeps so early.
Baby only likes to eat for me. He'll scream for an hour or more when husband tries to feed him (sometimes it works though). I just feel absolutely worn out and honestly a part of me regrets having a baby, even though he's BEAUTIFUL. And now with crawling/solid foods, he's even more work. I just can't relax!

By the time you get done doing what you have to do, it's time to go to sleep. With having to go to bed so you can work, and having a baby that doesn't sleep through the night where is the time for intimacy?

I have heard that using the bottle for long makes your baby teeth come out crooked. is that true or myth? What makes teeth get crooked? Please have sources in answer.
