Has anyone from India used the WhyCry monitor and if so, could you please share with me the effectiveness of it.

Also would appreciate if you can provide me pointers as to where I can buy it from in India.

Actually I got like a weeks time before the baby is due, would appreciate some quick answers.

hes at a daycare, they change him often but he stays with it, tonight before i put him in the tub i noticed his butt had a spot of blood on it. he uses luvs diapers, weve used others (huggies & pampers) but they seem to leak & he still had the rash (but not quite as bad) he is starting to eat table foods, hes not teething (anyways thats a total myth teething has no affect on diaper rash) we HAVENT switched laundry detergents, bath soaps, or formula
anyone know what foods cause diaper rash? or a good medicine i can use on him?

After we switched to soy at 3 months old my little Nikolas started sleeping through the night. I felt like the luckiest Mom in the world (even though I still woke up at his prior established times). Now at 6 months, for the last week he ALL THE SUDDEN started wanting a bottle between 1am & 2am. And also wants on at 5am before going back to sleep for 1-2 hours. And yes, for my sanity and the fact that I wake up 2 extra times a night to Dad's snoring, I've been giving in and giving him those bottles. 3 weeks ago he got his two bottom teeth and with the drooling starting to go full blast again, I'm sure the top two aren't far behind here. I'm afraid of tooth decay and was wondering if I could give him a bottle of water at that 1-2am wakey time. Sorry, I just don't have the will power to let him cry. So water or any other formula alternatives?

My daughter is a week old and we just got back from the hospital because she had to be readmitted due to jaundice. She had to stay in the hospital for 2 nights under blue lights and then we got to come home yesterday afternoon.
The Dr. said to call if the baby is "lethargic" well, she's been asleep all day and I have to wake her to feed her... Is that lethargic? I don't think you're supposed to have to wake a 1 week old to feed, I think she's supposed to wake up on her own. She doesn't even wake up to loud sudden noises. I rub her cheek to get her to eat and she wakes up for about 2 minutes and then off to sleep again! Should I be worried or do all newborns sleep all day?

Hi,
My 6 wk newborn is bottle fed breast milk with supplimental formula.
The first 3 wks, bowel movements were consistent and frequent... However, starting wk 4 to present, she completely stopped going "naturally". My wife and I have been inserting a rectal thermometer after 3-4 days and the stools come out soft without a problem.

Is this healthy? Aside from extremely abdominal fussiness, she is gaining weight and eating well. Anyone with the same problem? We're concerned this may be the start of a problem?

I'm considering getting circumcised. I wanted to do it as an aniversery surprise for my wife because she is overseas and i will be able to heal b4 i see her again. I was just wondering what most women would think of this if their husband did it it. Does it make any sexual difference at all? Does it feel any different?

I have looked at the respones to my question about Harlie and Preslie....and I saw that Preslie Marie was not really good. The more I think about it, I agree. So do you have any suggestions for middle names. Her name will be Preslie _____. If it helps, her sister's name is Harlie Grace. Thanks!

There is this nurse who thinks that you don't have to sterilize bottles. When you breast feed...after you are done feeding your baby, you are suppose to clean your nipples with a warm wash cloth. duh. I really hate stupid people who think that just because they are in the medical field, they know everything. You are wrong mr or ms nurse. But yes, if one germ gets in, it multiplies. Are you retarded or something!? You need to go back to school.

What do I do with him? I'm not able to get anything done. He's just been fed and changed, he's not tired, cold or hot, and he's not being overstimulated in any way.. he's just wants to be held. He's too big to put in the sling anymore, and he's uninterested in the swing anymore. So, I put him in his crib to play so I could do some things I need to do around the house and he just started screaming. He does this often when he's bored. He has toys to play with and stops crying after a couple of minutes, plays for a few, then realizes he's not being held and starts screaming again.. especially if he sees me walk by! I can't stand to let him scream, but he's getting to the poing where he cries if others hold him and stops when I take him, and I DO NOT WANT A CRYBABY! Do I just let him cry it out? I don't want him to think that I don't WANT to play with him, because I do.. but I have to get some things done.
