If your child drinks soy or a lactaid formula , no milk until they have had an allergy test from your doctor at 1 year old. but if they have no problems with formuls or gas problems the yes start around 11 months old mix 1oz vitamin D milk into their formula after a week with no changes in their body. change it too 2oz of milk mixed into their formula. So on so forth until they are 1 year old. Remember when they turn 1 they only get 16 ounces of milk all day so start slowing it doen around 11 months! people usually split the 16 ounces into 4 meal ( breakfast, lunch, dinner, bedtime!!) Good luck!!

Cows milk at 1 year! Good luck! At about 10 months I started my twins on a little milk, to get them used to it before they were done with formula, and they were fine!

I would ask your doctor, but I waited until my daughter was a year before giving her milk. She drank formula until 1. After 1, I stopped giving her formula (it's expensive) and started giving her organic full fat milk. She was 18lbs at 1 year. The only dairy I think you can give him is yogurt and I'm sure he will love it.

Babies usually are not ready for milk until they are around 12 to 13 months old.

I started both of my kids on whole milk when they were 9 months and they're both very healthy. Some doctors will say yes and some will say no. If your baby is eating well, and getting nutrients he needs then I don't see a problem starting on it. Try it first to make sure he doesn't have any problems like constipation and such.

I work in a daycare and it depends on your doctor. I have had babies start at 8 months and some at a year. I think that if he drinks enough ounces a day he will be fine. If he likes regualr milk then go for it.

My doctor put my boy on whole milk at his nine month visit. I would just wait till the doctor visit to see what the doctor says because they normally know best.
