no, my aunt swears by the same thing.
Walmart brand does NOT work and is not the same thing as the real brand infant tylenol. It will not bring my baby cousins fever down if they use walmart brand.

Probably a placebo effect, or maybe even the reverse of it. Medicine is medicine, and if the listed active ingredients are the same, you will get the same results. The only difference is the look of the brand, which is how many people buy medicine by, spending a little more money for a more spiffy box design. Don't fall for it.

The active ingredient in either of them is acetomenophen, and the amount of that in the mixture would be what causes the effect. Store brand vs. name brand wouldn't be any different except for the non-medicinal ingredients in it like the syrup.

It can be the brand, because of the mixture may affect its potency. Although they both are acetaminophen, its does still depend on the added component for the drug to be easily absorbed and metabolize which drug companies add(branded). You could also be the problem, you may not be taking the exact dosage, better ask your doctor about that. You could also have a problem in metabolizing the drug.

Both doctors and pharmacists will tell you that both work just the same. I'd go with that.
There are times when a brand name is preferable. For instance, prenatal tablets-the brand names are usually easier to swallow than generics. Even though I had to pay the whole amount, it was worth it to me!

THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. It has the same active ingrediant.....acetaminophen. The rest of the stuff in it are called fillers....non-active ingrediants. There ARE some prescription brand meds that despite being a generic ARE inferior to the specific brandk, in that case consult your pharmacist or your doctor.

I don't get what you mean at all. Store Tylenol as opposed to what other Tylenol is there? Tylenol is Tylenol not difference.

It is the *exact* same medicine. I think this is just you, being a product of a brand-obsessed society (we all are).
