Please tell me how to make my son sleep in his crib (in our room) instead of wanting to get up in the middle of the night and get in the bed with me. I need to sleep, I work full-time! Thanks

I feed her infant cereal still in the morning with fruit. Is that weird? She is on a special diet so she can go to the bathroom easier. I am running out of ideas of things to feed her. Any meal and snack ideas??

I've been reading (on Y?) that breastfeeding no longer offers your baby the same benefits after one year of age... does anyone know this to be true? Are there reputable websites saying this?

Hi y'all. Just wondering if you guys could share what your first 24-48 hours were like when you got home from the hospital...Did your baby sleep a lot? Did your hubby worry? Were you out of it? Did you have to feed him/her constantly? Etc, etc.

Infantino is recalling about 100,000 of its SlingRider Infant Carriers in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

The plastic slider on the carrier's fabric strap can break. This can cause the strap supporting the carrier to release and infants to fall out of the carrier. The manufacturer has received 10 reports of the plastic sliders breaking, including eight reports of babies falling out of the carriers. Four children were taken to the emergency room due to their injuries, and one of these children fractured her skull.

This recall involves the Infantino SlingRider carriers with item numbers: 141-210; 151-210; 151-528; and 151-534. The carriers are sold in black or khaki. "Infantino" is printed on the plastic slider located on the strap. The item number is printed on a label inside the SlingRider. Products labeled "Made in Thailand" or "New 2007 Design" are not included in the recall.

The carriers were sold from July 2006 through February 2007.

I have a 2005 pontiac vibe .. and it only has shoulder straps in the back .. is that OK for strapping in a carseat???
I'm NOT putting my baby in the front seat (becuase of the air bags) .. so is it ok that the backseat only has shoulder straps? no lap straps ..
It's a hatchback .. so I'm sure its made for a family .. but a family with a carseat!??

I am starting to put together my baby registry. As a first time mom I am very overwhelmed by all of the products and have no idea what the baby will really need. Does anyone have any suggestions on "must have" items and which items are useless? Thanks!

i researched soy milk and it states it isn't good for babies. because of that reason and cancer results from lab rats. my baby was prescribed that today after seeing blood in his stool last night and with him being gassy.

My 9 month old daughter woke up at 2 a.m. this morning vomiting her formula. She didn't want to eat last night I thought it might just be because of teething. I gave her pedilite (sorry about the spelling) starting at 2:30 a.m. till now. The last time she vomited was at 8:00 a.m. was her 5 th time. Now is has direrra and a fever at 8:00 it was 101.7 , at 11:00 it was 102.3 and now it's 103.5 . I gave her tylonol at 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The last time I took her temp was 50 min. after I gave her the tylonol. I called her doctor twice (kasier) and first they said keep her hydrated and now they told me that the fever is killing the germs and to put her in a luke warm bath which I did. They will not give me an appt. to see her doctor. I hae finnally put her down for a nap. What could I do to make her feel better, I can't stand to see my daughter sick.
