If it's baby's first feeding you shouldn't mix the cereal with fruit just yet. You should only introduce one new food item every 3 days. For baby's first few feedings mix the cereal with either formula, breastmilk, or water. Then after baby has had that for a few days and shows no sign of an allergic reaction, then it's fine to mix in other items. You might want to hold off on the fruit, and do veggies first. Also you might want to serve the fruit or veggies along side of the cereal and not mixed in. That way baby gets used to eating a "meal" that has different items instead of just everything in one bowl. But if you do mix the fruit or veggies into the cereal, you definitly need to add water or breastmilk or formula to the cereal first or you'll just get really thick veggie or fruit and might be a choking hazard for a baby who isn't used to eating somthing that thick.

Add the fruit and then the water. The fruit contains a lot of water, so if you add it last, the food might be really runny.

well try it first with water or even with formula and then the next day try adding some fruits

nope, unless it's too thick. I always just mixed it with the food. Applesauce and pears worked the best sine they are both thinner then others.
