I am 32 weeks and I thought I had a name ready but I changed my mind and decided I will stick with the name Austin but I need a middle name that will flow with it!!

my baby doesn't seem to drink a whole bottle of milk anymore (6 months old) and will only take a whole bottle if there is juice mixed with it or some baby food in it, (i had to do this with prunes because of constipation) is this ok to be eating maybe 9 oz of formula all day and the rest of the day have it mixed with baby food or prune juice?

My son is 4 months old and is the size of a 6-8 month old , its not that he is fat , he is right on sched for his height , he was born post term 42 weeks an 2 days , and iz quite tall because he is my first child i sometimes get blown out of the water and very frustrated , his diapers dont fit right , he keeps taking them off (I have him in sz 3 huggies) , he is almost too big for his car seat but the cars seats big enough for him are mae for much bigger babies an face fopwar instea of backwar. He is a bit over 20lb ..i have no real clue if thehis is really normalor what to o , my oc is stanoffish an just says by his height he is normal ..but i cant help but think its is so o that he is so large.

please give me any suiggestion you can ...

i breast fed my daughter for 10 months well i weaned her around 2 weeks ago now i know they say when your breastfeeding your period can be irregular mine were however i still got them often from around the time my baby was 2 months old lucky me lol.
never regular at all but they did happen.
my last period started on the 9th of feb i havent seen it ever since i thought i was getting it at the start of march but nothing. i had all the usuall symptoms and some cramping nausea sore breasts and then some but nothing.
can weaning my baby cause my period to become irregular???
i have had lots of clear discharge on and off since that time just normal looking i also have been getting a little pain in my lower left side of stomach anybody have any ideas how long should i wait befor contacting my doctor thanks all sorry its so long.

Baby has colic, and bad gas, i give her gentlease from enfamil, and that helps but was told by many friends and some midwives that this homepathic remedy was really great, i want to get some other peoples experiences about this and if they used it or not?? and how old your baby was

My baby is on formula milk. I was feeding him s26 but recently changed to heinz nurture because the nurse told me s26 can make them constipated. Since I changed formula milk my baby doesn't seem any better. He'd be lucky to poo every 3 days and he seems to be in pain straining all of the time. He seems to be passing wind a lot aswell and that seems to be bothering him. I've tried a bit of water but he doesn't seem to want to drink much and I've tried something called coloxyl drops that are supposed to soften the poo and relieve constipation but nothing seems to be working. What can I do?

My daughter threw out her pacifier at 2 months old, at first i was happy- i thought Great! i wont have to deal with trying to take it away from her, but at 4 months she started sucking her thumb. I thought it was cute and no big deal- pluse its convienent for me because thats how she self sooths. But now she almost a year old and im realizing this is going to get worse as she gets older. her doctor suggested that i get her to use the pacifier again, which will be easier to cut out later on. when i tried that she literally threw it out when i give it to her..... thats my story, what should i do???

you get some telling you breast feeding is best i think the majority of women do know this i asked about the differences between 2 formulas and a got some breast feeding fanatic telling me 100 reason why i should breast feed, when i stated that i could not breast feed she still persisted how annoying

I'm trying to find a daycare program for my 3 month old son. I'm trying to decide:

1) traditional day care or private home based day care?
2) national franchise day care (like kids r kids) or smaller private owned day care?

And what are some things that I should look for in a daycare? What questions should I ask when visiting a center?

Sorry... I'm a first time mom... :)

We have 6 month old an the problem we are having is getting her to sleep. When she finally falls asleep she only wakes up about 2 times per night. We have tried everything... play with her trying to wear her out, feed her, rock her, etc. Any other suggestions?

My baby is having issues. She is sucking her fist, drooling, being fussy, just got a MAD diaper rash.... from nowhere! I'm so stressed for her, it seems as though I am helpless in helping her. I have given her mylicon for her gas and then later gave her Tylenol which didnt seem to work. What is it and what should i do... yes, i know a lot of you are going to say take her to the doc but thats obvious. Anything I can do overnight?

My grandaughter is 18 months old. Has had over the last 3 weeks, intermittent high fever of 103 plus. Has a high white blood count. No cold, no kidney/blatter problem, no infection in lungs (chest xray), ...what could this be???? She is teething.

I am good at making cakes (I am not bragging) anyhow my neighbor is having a baby shower April 7th and here is my idea so tell me what you think:

Strawberry Cake with Strawberry Icing with white rosettes. A baby girl trinket box ontp of the cake along with congrats and it's a girl. These would be decorations for the cake cause i am not going to write anything on it.
(I made one like above for my sister and she loved it but i am wondering if you all would have anymore ideals as to what to put on top of the cake?)

he is on iron drops, zantac, metoclopram, and he is takin rice cereal in his special formula. (enfacare 22 cal with iron) could i try and take him off the iron drops?

OK so my daughter is 6 days old and my milk came in 2 days ago. She's a good eater I feed her every 2 1/2 to 3 hours but she can't even drain one side.
My breasts are rock hard and painful and I'm wondering if I pump it all out won't that just make even more in the long run? I know your body produces as much as your baby eats so will pumping just make even more come in? I tried just letting a little out in the shower but 30 minutes later I'm full again! My daughter can only drain like half at a time so I don't get relief that way either, an hour later I'm full and hard again.
What do I do?

she has been eating regular......i don't know what is wrong. shouldn't she be having a bowel movement more often? could she be constipated???? please help! what should I do? I am really concerned. she has been doing alot more crying too..i think her tummy might be hurting..but I dunno! sometims I wish she could talk!!! This is hurting me..plz help!!

My pediatrician had me start supplementing with breastfeeding when my son was 2 weeks old. I recently stopped supplementing and I am trying to breastfeed exclusively. My son nurses every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Is this excessive or normal for his age? How much should he be eating in a 24 hour period?

My 6 month old daughters belly button doesn't "stick out per say....it does go in but while she is crying, pushing, or sticking her belly out for u to blow on her belly button does pop out and it looks sort of bluish like the umbilical cord. it does go back in though......She has a checkup in a week but its kinda concering me now.....do hernias ever go back in like this? anyone know a baby with a hernia? anything helps! thanks!!
