Newborn & Baby - March 2007

My 6 month old daughter is usually a very very happy baby, barely cries, now all of a sudden she is crying and whining, and nothing you can do will stop her. She is stirring in her sleep. She does not have a fever, shes been eating fine, and going to the bathroom. Im not sure if shes teething, i feel her gums but dont feel any bumps, is it a long process for their teeth to come through? Any suggestions please?!

Any body else feel like sqeezing their kid because they are so cute? I want to pick up his sqeeling lil body and pop his cheek into my mouth and peck it. I want to pat his lil behind. His stupid lil sounds make no sense but i want to hear more of it. Im confused because he is now screaming after just smiling so happily,Is he bipolar? Na prob not,but now he is lauging because he is getting his diaper changed,ooopps now he screaming.I dont get it? Oh man that chubby lil cheek looks so good. Even the back of his neck looks tempting to peck.His pudgy lil nose and his fake cough thing he does just tops it off. His almond shaped eyes and his long blond hair dont help either. His stupid toothless smile and his stupid lil gums are just irisitable. I cant take it i need to pick him up now! Bye

My little guy is 7 months old, but since 8 weeks he has had constant chest infections and weekly high fevers. I take him to the Dr. and the ER weekly and they can't seem to come up with an anser. Finally last week someone mentioned that he could be inhaling reflux into his lungs, and giving him the constant infection, is this something that is common? I am tired of getting the horrible looks every time I take him to the hospital with the high fever, but what else can I do?

I want to breastfeed but don't want to see my son unhappy. Everything was going good and out of nowhere this started. He takes a bottle but thats a strugle as well. He cried for two hours straight last night. And finally nursed to sleep and slept most of the night. He woke up and nursed a little back to sleep than it all started agian. It starts off like he'll take the brest then he screams, after a while I give him a bottle, he fights that and over and over trying the breast and then the bottle. Till he takes one. Which isn't the breast!

Hi I am expecting my second child in June my first is eight years old so it has been a while and a lot has changed in these years I have friends and family with little ones and I know there are so many products on the market designed to make life easier '' I never had a wipee warmer or diaper genie with my first '' but I am totally considering a lot of these products are they worth it and why are there any items you couldn't live without and why I appreciate any input from the advanced to the old fashioned I'm having a boy if that makes a difference and I allready have a lot of essentials bouncer rainforest fisher price also swing open top cradle swing rainforest fisher price same play yard a pretty basic bassinet and a mid grade crib I have the cosco ashton carseat and stroller combo, the soothing motions glider,the miracles and milestones play gym and the safety first warm me bathtub with dual control shower head if anyone has any of these let me know if they were a good product!

My cousins baby doesnt cry, like at all. Shes a couple monthes now, like 5 monthes? i dont know. and she has never cried, thats what her family says, and yesterday they were trieing to put her to sleep, and she never cried at all. I just think its weird.

my baby will be 4 mos old this week. She is taking appx 3 naps/ day and then sleep. We don't have a regular "schedule' yet, but I am wondering how to do a nap schedule. If she has a bottle at 6pm, then falls asleep close to 8, I know she'll be up appx 9ish for a bottle, then back down. I have to dream feed her too appx 12:30 so she'll sleep until 6 or 7 am. Does this sound like it makes any sense?

I had a set of tins with the face of a beautiful dark-haired baby on my dresser when I was a baby. I have seen that same baby in a painting in the nursery on Father of the Bride 2. I have tried to Google it, but I can't remember the name of the company who made the tins, or the name of the artist or anything. My daughter is 16 months and we found out we're about 4-5 weeks pregnant on Friday. Doing the math my daughter will be around 2 when the new baby arrives. We have a two bedroom apartment and everything will fit fine in the bedroom for the two of them but my concern is sleep disruption back and forth. For the first 2-3 months my wife will probably have the baby in with us but after that the new baby will need to move to the crib. Has anyone done this / seen it done / have any suggestions?
