It will be about 26-32 oz per day. Generally, an 11 week old is only going to be able to eat about 3-4 oz at a time.

I also have an 11 week old baby who is on formula. (Don't let Andy's response get to you. I felt so guilty when I stopped breastfeeding, but I knew I was making the right decision for me and my daughter, and I'm sure you are too.) Anyway... my daughter usually drinks about 4 oz at a time. it is somewhere around 24 oz a day, but she doesn't nap much during the day and she sleeps all night, so she usually has a 6 oz bottle in the morning and then kind of snacks all day long.

I've heard 2 different options...2-3 oz. per pound in a day. Or take the baby's weight, divided by 2, give about that much per feeding.

Babies will eat different amounts, but generally speaking, around 4 ounces seems reasonable if they eat every 3 to 4 hours. Babies tend not to over eat, but if you have one that throws up after feeds, then maybe try a little less. Otherwise, let them eat what it seems like they want. Babies don't pig out like we adults do!

As much as she will eat. Babies know when they've had enough. Don't worry about her eating too much, but do be concerned that she is not eating enough. She should drink four ounces for each pound that she weighs in a day.

2.5 oz per pound of body weight.

As for Andy, when you grow breasts and something happens that you have to put your baby on formula and then you go through the guilt of having to switch to formula, then you can be so pushy. Until then, stop being so pushy!!!
