I am pregnant with my second son. I breastfed with my first son for 7 weeks, and during that time i never left his side, so i never had to pump milk for a babysistter. I have a state exam coming up that is going to take all day some time after he is born for CNA. It is impotant to get my licence, but its also important for me to breastfeed considering i had to stop with my firt one. How do i exclusevly breast feed my son and have a baby sitter for the whole day? is it possible to pump that much milk? If not is it ok to give the baby formula just for that one day? I know nothing about freezing my milk either.

Other people say it's our fault that our baby wont sleep on her own because we always come to her rescue the second she cries. But now she's 3 months and at 7 kilos I just dont have the energy anymore to lug her around until she sleeps! Pls. Does letting her cry herself to sleep work? Assuming no health problems, how many minutes of crying will we wait before we take her off the crib? Please I need your help.

when his temp was at 100 and she just said if it doesn't come down by monday bring him in and in the meantime give him tylenol.......is 101.8 checked in the armpit an ok temp for 24 hours still, or does it mean a trip to the er? I have given him tylenol every four hours and it brings it down a whole degree anbd a half...but by the time he can have his next dose he is 101.8 again....Should I alternate with motrin, or is this not high enough of a temp to need that?
He is a little grouchier than normal but he is still active and eating and seems pretty good. He has no signs of any cold or anything..could it be his first teeth?

Is it normal for my nine month old to be so active? Won't stay still while I change a poopy diaper or any diaper. Won't sleep through the night anymore. Wants to eat everything! Gets frustrated because he cannot walk. If so and if this gets harder how do I get more energy?

This just came on last night....except for a runny nose he's had for a couple of days. His cough seems to be pretty uncomfortable, as he's crying more (high pitched) than usual. Any hints on how to help alleviate this while his little systems "toughs it out"?

The doctor says that she will resume her breastfeeding after 3 weeks. What will she do to prevent her breast of not producing milk so she could still breastmilk her baby after 3 weeks?

it seems like everytime i travel with my baby people give me looks all the time. even if she cries a little bit. i don't understand why people get annoyed so easily, i mean someone had to take care of them when they cried too. i get really bad anxiety before traveling alone with her bc of how i am treated. people aren't even helpful with luggage when they see you struggle with it, what is wrong with society?

my baby is 3 months and two weeks old, he has been a very very fussy/high needs baby from the start and always has to be carried around faceing out and walked and jiggled all day and he sleeps really crappy. he will sleep for about 30 mins for his day sleeps and he wakes constantly most nights. he is consoleable but has screaming fits all day unless i do the carrying bouncing thing. i am really at my witts end and am exhausted. i swaddle him to sleep and rock him but he just wakes up. ive tried routine. ive tried bath bottle bed but nothing works. i have tried swings bouncers walkers and any toys you can think of but i can hardly ever put him down. he is never content and happy for long. he has seen doctors and been in hospital for his reflux but he is on medication now and has been for a month so if it was that he would of calmed down now. he doesnt scream when he vomits now but is still very high needs. anyway, personal experiences? when do they stop this behaviour and get happy?

i came across a question on here which was asking if ear piercings on young children is it child abuse.

i couldnt believe some of the answers, one girl got her childs ears pierced at 3 month i cannot understand why i think its stupid and looks very charvy

so would you get your babies ears pierced and if so WHY?

do you not think the child should choose to have there ears pierced not have it forced on them as a baby

My 1/2 duplex was originally built to be one suite. It is now two and thus has NO soundproofing. I can hear the neighbors alarm clock! They can hear mine. I can hear their t.v. channel and their arguements.. often word for word. My concern is that I am having a baby in a few months. They say the porch door in my enterance echos in their place. I am in the basement and it is cold. I turn the heat on, and they sweat and open their windows in a Canadian winter. These neighbors are moving this week, thank god, because they complained ALOT. I don't know who will my new neighbors will be. But my newborn will cry and wake up at night several times and they will hear everything as they will be right above me. I don't want to be tense with my baby crying and being more uncomfortable in my home then I was with these neighbors.I am a single mom and would move when my lease is up with a newborn baby and a 7 year old.I love my location now.It is for sale, also getting new landlord. What would u do?
