You will find that the female would be making nests even if there is no male. It's just something they do in preparation for pregnancy. Also she doesn't know she no longer has a fertile partner. Also the male may even continue to hump her & spray his urine & don't be shocked if she starts humping him! She is just trying to get him in the mood!
Also desexing is sometimes not 100%! It usually is so don't worry to much just let your doe make her nest. It will give her exercise & keep her happy as she will get a little aggressive in her nest making mood!
Good luck & take care!

She could be sprayed with Chanel Number 5, but still couldn't be made pregnant by a newt!

But, seriously, your female and buck could have 'got together'. just before the male was waltzed off to the vet.

Or, your female is having a phantom pregnancy - she thinks she is pregnant, because she wants to be, and goes through all the actions of being pregnant. This seems to happen a lot with rabbits.

If the male has been neutered, he no longer produces sperm so he can't father any more babies. I'm not sure how long rabbits are pregnant for, is it possible he managed to impregnate her just before he was neutered?

Can any wild rabbits get to the female? Maybe the female had a phantom pregnancy?

Yes, there may be some sperm still in the vas deferens after neutering and they shouldn't be put back together for a couple of weeks. Go back to see the vet and ask them to tell people to keep them seperate in future, you should have been warned about this.

no. the female may just be having a fantom pregnancy. nowt ot worry abt, mine does it all the time. try getting her some soft toy rabbits, she'll love 'em to bits. just don't try picking them up! i tried...still have the scars....
anyway, unless the vet messed up BIG time, no, the male will never father any more rabbits

Perhaps she is placing expectation before anticipation and is hoping for a re-run. Reckon your Buck the Bunny is firing blanks and maybe Dozy Doh is confused by Buck's amorous behaviours as opposed to expectant behaviour.

Nope. Unless the vet cocked up.

She must have cheated on him because neutering makes the male unable to fertilize eggs. :-(
